My first ever Tumblr post is going to have to be about announcing that my baby has a new chapter.

Hello Vlain enjoyers! We all know the state of this precious ship and when I ran out of fics on Ao3 to read I decided to take matters into my own hands. So meet the child I birthed with my own two hands: To the fowl whose fiery eyes now burned into my bosom's core; also lovingly nicknamed The Fowl by me. Link and info under cut!

The fic is lovingly entwined with the poem The Raven by Edgar Allan Poe. The Fowl has just received its third chapter of these two old dudes trying to NOT fuck on the nearest surface/cannibalise eachother eventually. Tags will be updated as I go along!

since I haven't seen this mentioned in regards to surviving intense heat: If you have to be outside and the air is hotter than your body temp you will stay cooler by wearing loose full length pants and long sleeves than you will going for the minimal clothing approach.

This doesn't apply to high plastic fabrics as much but with natural fibers and the like wearing loose clothes traps a layer of air the same temperature as you next to your skin instead of letting you bake in the higher temps. Plus it helps with the UV exposure part of the equation.

I bet Hazard looked up to Ramattra, once. Sticking it to the human-centric system, freeing Omnics from underground trafficking rings, trying to take King's Row. . . hell, I bet the Phreaks did a lot of these same sort of gigs. Never anything as grand as the King's Row uprising of course, but who's to say a group can't dream?

All that respect, of course, evaporating the moment Ramattra tried to take every Omnics' freedom away.

Hazard can only think to himself, at some point I'll learn to stop having heroes.
