Continuing to work on these two. It's been frustrating and I honestly have to pick up the pace so I can move onto other projects.
Fun fact: Griselda is about 5 ft tall. If that surprises you, it's intentional. Part of her appeal is that she should subvert expectations- to be a commentary on the narrow boxes people shove female OCs into. She's muscular, but not tomboyish. She despises vulnerability, but still maintains a level of self awareness and brutal honesty. She's not afraid of people seeing her softer side, she just doesn't like disclosing a lot of information or showing tears. She's 5 feet tall lifting cars and beating up men who are on average a foot taller than her.
I have no issue with women characters who are muscular and tomboyish. I have no issues with fictional women who are strictly emotionally shut off and agressive. I have no issues with tall women characters. My concern is when people make assumptions about women characters, not when people make characters that fall under these categories. My hope is that Griselda challenges people to broaden their perspectives when it comes to women in fiction.
And, yeah, I like that she's "Y/N" height, because anyone who understands her relationship with Jotaro or Kakyoin knows that she's very much the "alpha 6 ft tall dom daddy ceo" of all of her relationships. 🖤

Spinning cat was interesting. It turned out good, but I think it would be better in a blend. It was very light and fine, and slipperier than any wool I've worked with. I found it helpful to let just the tiniest bit of twist into the stuff I was drafting. It is so so soft and very warm and has a decent halo, which I expect will increase even more after wet finishing.
So I have been seeing some posts talking about how it's odd that Kakyoin demonstrated the skill of being able to possess an opponent but it was never used again after his fight with Jotaro. Which yes, could and very likely was simply another "the author kinda forgot about this" but I do think the angle of "He doesn't do it anymore because post-fleshbud he now knows what it feels like to be on the other end and can't bring himself to." is Also something we should be considering.
