Bc I don't want to make them all Robin's that's way too easy. Dick is a Robin since he was the first obviously

But the others? Damian is a bat like his dad at the least idk about anyone else.

Character of the day:

Lance Bruner aka Robin #2

He was the second robin to take on the mantle after Dick Grayson.

He was both introduced and killed in the same issue: Brave and the bold #83 May 1969. Jason appeared in March 1983.

Thomas Wayne and Lances father were friends and had agreed many years earlier for the Wayne’s to take in Lance if anything were to happen to Lances parents.

Bruce took in Lance to prevent him from going to juvenile detention since it turns out Lance is a delinquent.

Lances mum died when he was 2 and because his father was an archaeologist, it meant that he had a neglected childhood growing up. (This is similar to how the Batfamily fans portray Tim Drakes childhood).

Bruce wanted to make him become a better person by making him volunteer in charity shops and work alongside the teen titans (they didn’t really like him and voiced their concerns to Dick). Wally especially said, “he’s making a mistake —a whopper” when he overheard Bruce saying he’s considering adopting Lance. Dick was adamant on his reformation.

He found out that Dick and Bruce were Batman and robin, and made a deal with a criminal by the name of Grantland Stark to sell them out. He found out that he made a serious mistake when Dick got injured, so he put on the Robin costume in the bat cave and took a bullet for Batman and Robin to save them.

In his final moments, he apologised profusely to Bruce, which made Batman learn a lesson about seeing the best in people. He was given a memorial in the gardens outside Wayne manor.

Headcanons:

He keeps to himself 99% of the time. The 1% is when he eats Alfred’s food.

If he were still alive all of the Batfamily members would lowkey avoid him including Jason and Damian.

He watches true crime podcasts and laughs at the gore.

His favourite justice league member is Green Lantern only because he goes to space all the time so he wouldn’t be a problem stopping him from doing crime.

Jason tried bonding with him over the fact that they both died but Lance only made it about himself, and quoted “You’re still a little boy in a man’s world you haven’t seen everything that i experienced”

He doesn’t eat Alfred’s cookies. 🤯

I feel like he could be Red X. Since Dick knows him and he found out that Dick and Bruce were Batman and Robin.

Ok so idk how many people know Anita Jean/Jenny Wren as a character, shes a pretty new retcon, but basically shes the retconned First Child Sidekick of Batman, who died.

So, what if the batkids find out she exists when Batman's hit by a truth spell? Like, they've all gathered around him to see who his favourite robin is, to finally answer once and for all.

And he just goes "Jenny"

And their like "FUCKING WHO-"

So naturally they all turn to Dick, bc he knows all of the early Batyears lore, including the very brief existence of Batboy and the technically-first female robin. But even he doesnt know who the fuck Jenny is.

Many hours later, when the spell fades and they get to ask him about it, he reveals shes been dead for some twenty years, and Jason's just like "i wasnt even the first dead robin???"

And Bruce, with no explanation, goes, "no, you were the third."

Cue Dick having to explain how Lance Bruner died. Jason is pissed.
