UNIQUE KIDDO ACTIVITY MASTERLIST *budget friendly*

Activities to do as a little is a really common question I get in my DMs! I figured I would make a list. This list is organized by cost, and include a list of things you’d need and where to get them.

Regression Wall Budget: ~$10.00

This idea is very straight forward. It’s essentially a mood board but irl. You’ll need Glue/tape/paste/staple to attach some pictures, characters, textures, patterns, text and even toys to a wall, side of bookshelf or even just use Bristol board or a piece of paper to be more discreet. This can hang any wear and be like a super cute custom poster for your room.

Homemade Tutus! Budget: ~$10.00

For the crafty littles out there. You’ll need colourful tulle and an elastic band. Essentially, the tulle is cut into strips and the elastic is cut to fit the waist of the wearer. Then, tie them to the elastic. This craft is super simple so get creative with the colours and pattern! Video tutorial link

Cutesy Mirror Budget: ~10-20$

This one is a great idea for if you want to put some pop into your room. You essentially just decorate your mirror border with anything you’d like. You’ll need: Fake flowers I find are most common but you can use gems or a butt ton of themes stickers (works best if they are similar colour schemes and if you have a lot) developed or printed horizontal images (fits the border length wise works best) don’t forget some hot glue to glue those baddies on.

Plushie Passports Budget: ~ $0-10.00

If you are a plushie or doll lover with in depth lore on everyone then this is for you. You’ll need cardstock (or even paper) cut into a rectangle and some neat writing. Make a template your like (chose ei where the picture name, age, gender, nationality, pronouns, height, weight, occupation, serial number) and fill out the information for your friends. You can add things like a sticker as your seal of approval or their “signature”. You can draw their picture or take a picture and print it off and stick it on its up to you (make sure to ask for help cutting them out tho).

I have way more ideas like this so if people like this I’ll make more. Also feel free so show me what you made, I’ll be very proud!!

Caregiver Tips: Age Ranges

Littles regress to a wide range of ages, and yours might regress to several different ages or ranges of ages! That preference will effect how they’d like to be treated and what kind of things they like. Here are some general facets of each type of regression.

Baby Regression:

0-1 common age range

Bottles

Pacifiers

Soft and quiet, or giggly and babbly

Needs lots of help taking care of them self

May prefer crawling to walking

Snuggly

Opt for less stimulation when possible

Lullabies

Soft foods and baby foods like cereals and fruits

Need naps

Might prefer diapers

Rattles

Teethers

Night lights

Toddler Regression:

2-4 common age range

Energetic

Curious

Still pacifiers

Sippy cups

Cartoons

Crayons (jumbo helps) and coloring books

Lots of colors

Be engaging and try to match their enthusiasm

Clumsy

Overalls and cute t-shirts

Mismatched socks

Read stories to them

Still needs help with a lot

Big Kid/Teen Regression

Doesn’t like being talked down to or babied that much

Still likes hugs and attention though

These are basic types of regression, but your little might have features from multiple groups. For instance, I regress to a little kid age most of the time, but still like sippy cups and pacifiers. They may regress to a baby, but have features of a bigger kid like playing video games. It’s all about what makes them most comfortable. For some, these items and actions are necessary for regression, but for some they may just help them to feel small whether they need it or not.

Above all else, everyone is different, so just ask! If they aren’t sure what they like, that’s ok too. Ages are tricky, so just have fun trying different things together!

🧸when watching a show/movie they like, ask them who certain characters are

🍯talk for their stuffies to them

☁️ask them what color things are

🧸ask them how many of something there are

🍯ask them to read something small for you

☁️do things like tying their shoes, filling up their drinks, or even cutting up their food for them

🧸get excited when they get excited

🍯praise them for doing even the smallest task (i.e. cleaning their room by themselves, drinking water without being told, etc)

☁️make them feel special by calling them a good boy/girl/little one for no reason other than because they are!

🧸remind them of their daily routines (i.e. “did you brush your teeth today?” “have you cleaned your room today?” etc)

🪐 Self-care Activities For Upset/Overwhelmed Littles 🪐

- Grab a piece of paper and pens and go crazy! Draw out aaaall of those big feelings. You can throw it away or rip it apart afterwards, if that helps.

- Talk to your stuffie! If you don't feel like talking, remember that you can always communicate telepathically to your stuffies. They will understand!

- Grab some toys/stuffies and play out a scene that made you upset or a situation that you are nervous for. What would your stuffies do? How would they make themselves feel better? What would you say to them to make them feel better?

- If you need a distraction, put on your favourite show/movie or listen to some songs to help you calm down. Maybe have a playlist ready if you ever need it again!

- If there is one feeling/thought that is consistently making you worry and getting in your way, make a feelings box/jar. You can write down that feeling, fold it up and put it in the box. Once it's inside, the feeling is safely tucked away and can't worry you anymore! And you can keep using the box/jar in the future.

- Take a bath, if you like. Gather any bath bombs/salts and bath toys you may have. Splash, play, rest. You could listen to an audiobook/podcast or play some music. When I'm all done and pull out the plug, what I like to do is lay down, close my eyes and imagine that as the water is slowly going down, so are aaany bad thoughts and feelings that I don't need and I always feel a bit lighter afterwards. You could try it too, if you think it will help!
