OP what is your layout here because it sure as hell isn't a square grid

The grid is actually 81000 x 81000, so that each boyfriend fragment is about 1000 blocks from any other orthogonically adjacent boyfriend fragment. Blocks squared is used in the same way as meters squared (standard minecraft blocks are canonically a meter cubed btw) If you wanna be exact, the smallest area I'd need for this arrangement assuming a square grid is actually 80081 x 80081, I'm pretty sure.

Ohh ok so it's (81000m)^2 rather than 81000(m^2)? If you want 1000m between each orthogonally adjacent boyfriend fragment though I think you'd only need 9000 x 9000, since you have 81 boyfriend fragments
