Everyone who has watched the shown knows that Starfire doesn’t have her own season and it surely makes her less complicated than the others,but could they have treated her better anyways?Let’s say that I think Star is the only character on the team who has to rely or be sided by another one ,in her case,Robin.In the episodes focused on her,Robin has always a major role which I get since they like eachother.Problem is ,she is more than that and only in Troq we see her as a independent being.Let’s think about the episodes in which Star is the protagonist.Sisters,Date with Destiny,Troq,How long is forever,Switched,Can keep himStranded,Betrothed,Transformation.In Troq starfire is sided by Cyborg,in Switched by Raven,in Can I keep him by Beast Boy,and the rest has always Robin majorly involved.Not to mention the fact that in Date with Destiny ,the alien girl acts ooc when insulting Kitten,like smart girls don’t put others down in that way and it sounded weird especially coming from someone so “innocent” like her.All because she wanted Robin’s (who also acted a bit like a jerk) attention.In Sisters her acting is more appropiate,she is just sad and jealous of her sister while with Kitten she is straight up mean.In Betrothed and Stranded the main plot is actually robstar so it is completely fine for them to focus on Robin too.In How long is forever the whole team helps Starfire but of course Robin is the first one to save her.In transformation Star is especially worried ahout what Robin would have thought of her new looks.At least she has some episodes with the others yes,but only one focuses solely on her.Robin has Apprentice,X ,Haunted.Raven has The end, The prophecy,Birthmark,Fear itself and Spellbound.Beast Boy has the Beast within,Homecoming,Employee of the month,Every dog has his days,and takes the spotlight in most of Terra’s episodes.Cyborg has Cyborg the barbarian,Car Trouble,Crash,Overdrive,The sum of his parts and etc.Basically Star only develops as Robin’s girlfriend and everyone else has more important roles in all the episodes in general.
