I love treating each stage of my life with care and respect even if I don’t like it at the time. So I can look back later and know I didn’t take it for granted. And refusing to be jealous of where others are at. It’s a self-respect thing

you don’t need to reinvent yourself this summer; you simply need to return to the things that make you feel most like you
Does anyone know what to do about the temperature and also the prices
Thankfully, there is a convenient book about what is to be done.
Good news: the solution to the high temperature is the same solution to the prices!

Being loved by the right person allows you to grow into who you were always meant to be. Their love doesn’t confine or ask you to shrink. It gives you the safety to expand. In their presence, you feel seen without being shaped, supported without being controlled and encouraged without feeling pressured. Loving them, and being loved by them, softens the parts of you that are guarded and strengthens the parts that are waiting to emerge. Through that kind of love, you don’t become someone else, you become more fully yourself
The only type of love you deserve and should welcome
the time will pass anyway, might as well do it
i hope every introverted hopeless romantic with a secret freak side finds an ANCIENT COIN
"The normalization, the acceptance, the embrace, the belief that a settler-colonial project can be reformed, can be saved, that it's somehow not rotted to the core, needs to be combated. When you normalize the right of one settler-colonial project to exist, you're letting colonized people know that your solidarity is conditional... Any excuse you give for normalization of a settler colonial project is fundamentally a betrayal to colonized people all around the world, especially when you yourself are a settler... Let me make this plain: If you accept 1776, how are we to believe that you reject 1948?"

I saw a video of a child carrying a sack of flour from a GHF aid site and the sack of flour was… you guessed it, an UNRWA sack. So these monsters can lie and say they’re delivering thousands of meals while killing aid seekers but what they’re really doing is providing the aid from other organisations, including the ones that Israel won’t allow to operate inside Gaza. Absolutely ridiculous.
I remember back in the day when I was much more of a “starry eyed youth” I used to try to talk to the people that supported Israel, tried to convince them that we could live together, that they didn’t need an ethnostate, that there was no real reason to be afraid of us. So stupid.
I didn’t know better so I allowed them to assert “realities” and argued with them from there, not realizing that this was how they pushed the discussion further and further towards the right, towards justifying fascism.
And of course no argument could ever work, because they could never argue in good faith, they could never come to a conversation and even do the bare minimum, which was accept that Palestinians were people and that we did not deserve this.
It would always return to the assertion of “it’s not possible to peacefully coexist”
Well let me tell you I am convinced. You can’t take an innocent people like the Palestinians and expect them to be able to coexist with murderous settler colonial barbarians like the Israelies. The most depraved people on the earth.
One of the things supporters of Israel used to say was “you can’t condemn all of the settlers, all the idf, all of Israel, that’s like half the jewish population” or “you can’t do expect us to cut off our community that supports Zionism we’re too small.”
All I got to say now is that it’s not our fault that half of your people have made it their mission to kill us for sport, and that if one Nazi sits at a table with 9 other people and no one gets up then there’s 10 Nazis at the table.
two million people starving to death because it's geopolitically convenient and we're all expected to go about our day normally like the casual cruelty on display for the past two years has been so insane to me like i'm not even trying to make a point it's just truly something i can't wrap my mind around
Georges Ibrahim Abdallah is free and one thing I can say hearing his speech now that he is back in Lebanon, is that despite keeping him for 41 years as a political prisoner, France did not break him at all. His first words to the press were for Palestine and Palestinians and a call to resist to colonialism and imperialism.
He was supposed to arrive in Lebanon tomorrow but France put him in a plane earlier hoping that he wouldn’t get a welcoming protest.

my timeline on twitter is full of people from gaza saying they're starving. gaza has been deprived of food slowly and strategically for the past 600 days but it has never been like this. even sameer project have said they have not been able to distribute food for the past 3 days. i'm genuinely really scared. i try to give people actionable things to do like donations (which we should all still do) but there actively is not enough food in gaza at this moment even with extreme inflation and it feels like this news is being deliberately buried by mainstream media. it feels like i'm being forced to watch my friends, their parents, their children, people i know, people i'm talking to, waste away right in front of me
