idk why but I’ve always liked the idea of tiny pixie type fairies being able to be big and human sized but they just don’t want to or it makes them tired or something.

Like yeah I could turn big to break this jar but that sounds like a) a lot of effort and b) a lot of glass shards so I think I’m just gonna stay here actually

I think I got the idea as a kid before I even saw anything like this because in media there are both tiny fairies and fairies that are human sized so because they’re magic to me it makes sense that they can just go *bamf* in a little cloud of smoke and change size. Not being shapeshifters but they have two sizes.

Also I think they don’t care about the law of conservation of matter because they just say “no thank you” to the laws of physics. That’s how they can fly with those weird little insect wings of theirs.

Basically I think that tinker bell could be human sized and the winx fairies could be insect sized but they just choose not to.
