Time to Go
Sometimes journeys start easy You're just one step away from leaving. Maybe you won't be gone long, or far. I'll see you all the time, right? You'll think so, but I know better. I know how freedom feels. Go do what you want, and be Who you are, not who others Wish you to be Not even me. But remember, That freedom is a bargain. You can be who you are And who you want to be, Just keep your end of the deal. Be you, no matter what. See the future. Make a plan. Always change the plan: The future always changes. Go crazy for awhile, The world is a crazy place. Be careful what you wish for, It is too easy to get what you wish. Don't lose your friends. Don't hate your foes. Love is a long road. Walk it strong. There are no maps, But if you get lost, Just call. Leaving is easy. Go far. I'm here. If you need me. -This was written by my father before I left for college.
