LISTEN UP EVERYBODY!! Creator Tom Warburton and the rest of the crew of the original Codename: Kids Next Door series want to do a sequel, Galactic Kids Next Door, and the way they’re trying to make it happen is through what’s basically a viral interest check. THIS IS NOT AN APRIL FOOL’S JOKE - it’s a test to see if the concept is worth the investment! A new KND series is not currently planned, but it’s clear both the show’s team and Cartoon Network want to do it, they just need confirmation we want it to happen. So the more attention this video and campaign overall gets, the more likely it is we will actually see GKND become a reality!

Actually, this is pretty much a modern version of how KND became a series in the first place. It was the winner of CN’s second Big Pick Weekend all the way back in 2001. Now instead of telephones and a poll on CN’s website, we have social media!

I’ve been rewatching the original show since this was initially announced and honestly, I gotta say it’s even better than I remember. I loved it when it was on the air but I appreciate so much of the clever writing and stores more now, ironically, as an adult compared to when I was kid. It more than deserves this boss-looking sequel, so if you’re just as pumped about it as I am, SPREAD THIS LIKE BUTTER ON TOAST! Tell everyone you know about it! Let CN know we want this and let’s make it happen!

Help please

So I need some help. When I was a kid there was this show, and I barely remember it. But it is driving me CRAZY trying to figure it out. I’m starting to think that maybe I imagined it which freaks me out. So if you guys could share this so I could figure it out I would be..greatly indebted.

I think it was about a child, a girl. And she had a dog or something I think. And she was looked after by her uncle. And her uncle had this massive smile on his face all the time, like a surgical procedure gone wrong. And I think he had a huge moustache. There was this one episode where the girl/child finds an old scrapbook and in it were pictures of her uncle before he had massive smile, then pictures of him in the circus or something, then him having an accident and needing facial reconstruction or something. She doesn’t want him to know she saw but he walks in after she has left. I think he’s been…chopping wood or something. I seem to remember a big hammer or axe or something. And he just straightens a picture frame.

Hey!

I have something for you all to keep you up all night. (You should thank me it’s final week season.)

So Ed Hermanski was a high school teacher, who started to tell an extremely scary story to his history class.

And by scary, I mean it was scary enough for it to be in a newspaper article and for many people requesting it to be made into a movie.

Hermanski tells kids at the start to leave if they become too frightened. A few actually exit early. Others, even honor students and tough jocks, cannot sleep afterward.

What’s REALLY mysterious about this story is how MANY people report extremely strange things happening afterwards. For example, the power turning on and off and mysterious noises.

I’ve attached an audio of the story. One student decided to record it one day. It’s a long listen and remember listen at your own risk.
