Anyway hello everyone. Remember me? I used to post lol. Okay I'll stop making jokes and be serious about this.
So hi (again). I disappeared for a year and now I'm here again. This is becoming a habit at this point lol.
First of all, I'm sorry. I left you guys hanging, waiting for chapters that never came. I said I would post, and I didn't.
But then, second of all, I'm not really sorry. Life happened. 2020 was a disgusting year. Everything hurt, and nothing was okay. I had a hard time, and writing was the last thing on my mind, and that is okay. I really hope you understand because I don't really feel like justifying myself for this.
However, if anyone cares, things have been a little bit better lately. I have decided to get my shit together and be productive again.
So, I started writing again.
BUT, but. I'm still very anxious about being active on this blog again, for various reasons. I tend to pressure myself a lot. When I commit to something, I tend to overwork myself, because I'm a mess like that. Seeing you guys send me messages like "i hope you feel better soon" or "you're my favorite account" or "i love your writing so much" made me pressure myself even more. I'm actually so thankful to everyone who sent in those messages and I'm not blaming you at all like omg I appreciate your support so much :'( it's just a toxic trait that I've been trying to break lately. I want to be able to accept your love and support without feeling pressured or anxious about it.
So yeah, I started writing again, and I do want to post my writings on this blog, but there are a few things you guys should know before I do so.
☾ Requests are closed, for now. I already have a bunch that I need to complete, and I also have a few stories of my own. Taking requests would be extra pressure that I'm trying to avoid. I will eventually open them though, when I'm ready. I'm really trying to write what I want to write, and not force myself.
☾ Please be patient with me. I'm still looking for my own rhythm, and again, I don't want to add pressure by fixing deadlines. I will continue writing the stories that I left on hold. I will complete the requests that I said I'd complete. But please give me time. I am trying very hard.
☾ I started to write for Day6! As some you may have noticed, Day6 are now included in my masterlist because I have a couple of works in progress about them. I started getting into them in late 2019, and they became one of my ults then. I am very excited to show you what I've been working on, and I hope you are too!
☾ My ask box is open. Feel free to message me, chat with me, vent out, talk about your life, about kpop, about anything. I've missed you guys and I would like to catch up
That's it everyone, I hope this wasn't too long I really do love you all and I hope everyone is okay. Thank you for the love and support Im so thankful, and thank you for understanding and staying despite a whole year-long hiatus :((
Expect new content coming in the following weeks/months. Thank you so much and see you guys soon ;)
just wanna know how youre doing hihi are you doing well now?? 🥺
Hello anon
Thanks for checking in on me. I’ll take the opportunity to make a quick update. I am doing better, I’m still super busy, but at least I’m not as tired anymore. BUT, unfortunately, I have a problem : I don’t have a computer anymore :(((
I could write stories using my phone, but the thing is, I already have so many assignments I have to write using my phone and, compared to using a computer, that shit takes a long time :((
But I will come back, since I’m getting my new laptop around the end of this month. And once I get it, be prepared cause I will be flooding you with new stuff. I have so many things prepared for you guys, I can’t wait to show you already. Until then, take care everyone, stay safe and I love you all.
guys, i'm sorry but i'm gonna have to delay the update of 'brise'. i know i said i'd post a chapter on thursday but, truth be told, i haven't finished writing it yet. not that i didn't want to, but i've just been so busy and so stressed out with school and my personal life and everything in between. i'm not doing great, either physically or mentally. i'm truly overworked and i barely have time to sit down and write. i hope you understand.
i will try my best to update 'brise' this weekend. i'm very very sorry anon for making you WAIT like this. but please know that i love this story, i can't wait to work on it properly and put it out for you. love you 🖤

Part One Part Two
You had all your reasons to stay mad at Jinyoung for an entire week. He had called you a hypocritical bitch after all. You hated that he acted so petty about it, without even allowing you to speak and get your point across. Not that you had to justify yourself to him for doing your job anyway, but the man just couldn’t get that into his stubborn head. You could understand he was angry. Who wouldn’t get upset after reading such brutal words? But if only he’d given you a chance to speak and explain why you wrote them, maybe things wouldn’t have gone so bad. Is this karma, you thought to yourself.
You were surprisingly sad about this whole situation, because you couldn’t help but think you and Jinyoung could’ve been something. You got along really well with each other, not just sexually but also conversationally, intellectually and emotionally. You pretty much valued the same things, and you felt like you had possibly missed out on something great. The fear of permanently losing Jinyoung before even actually having him was, most probably, your motivation to get over yourself after an entire week of wanting to strangle him. Whether you liked it or not, you had him under your skin.
You came to the conclusion that a good old confrontation was the best way out of this sticky mess. You decided to talk to him once and for all and lay your cards on the table, so you could communicate like the grown and civilized adults that you were. But there was a problem: Jinyoung was acting like a child. He avoided you like plague whenever he could. And when he couldn’t – because he couldn’t act too weird in front of the clueless GOT7 members – he threw weird looks in your direction, responded dismissively to everything you’d say, and roasted you at any chance he got. The rest of the boys found it normal, thinking that Jinyoung was just comfortable enough around you to be his overly savage self. You were the only one who knew of his hatred towards you. He was making it even harder for you to find the will to talk to him.
After a concert, you heard the boys talk about going out in the city with their manager for a visit, and you heard Jinyoung say he didn’t want to go because he was too tired. This was your best chance. You immediately went and locked yourself in your room, patiently waiting, until you heard a knock on your door.
- “We’re heading out” Bambam said when you opened. “Wanna come with us?”
- “Thanks but I can’t, I’m sorry. I got tons of work to finish and then I’m going straight to bed. Maybe another time.”
- “Okay, no problem. Good luck then” he said sweetly before turning on his heels to leave.
- “Oh, wait” you stopped him. “Are all of you guys going? I have an article to finish and I was hoping I could ask one of you some questions and get it done with. Anyone would do.”
- “Ah yep, Jinyoung’s in his room. He’s too old to go out with us” Bambam joked.
- “Great then I’ll go talk to the grandpa. Have fun out there.”
- “Thanks, bye” he said and disappeared at the corner of the corridor.
Now that you had the confirmation that Jinyoung was there alone, you armed yourself with courage and determination. When you arrived in front of his door, you took a deep breath and knocked.
- “Who’s that?” he called.
- “It’s me.”
You heard him sigh from the other side of the door. For a split second, you thought he would ignore you. But apparently, he was smart enough to understand that you weren’t going to leave him alone. You heard his footsteps approaching. The second the door opened, not giving him the chance to dismiss you again, you immediately blurted out a “We need to talk” before walking past him and into his room.
- “Go ahead, make yourself at home” he says, his voice dripping with sarcasm.
You gestured him to sit down on the bed and went to stand in front of him with your arms crossed. He stared at you, looking almost bored, waiting for you to say something.
- “You want to talk, then talk. Is it about that sweet new article you uploaded?”
That new article. The one where you showcased GOT7’s qualities and achievements. You had totally forgotten about it. At this point you almost wished it had never been published, not wanting to give Jinyoung the satisfaction of reading it. You didn’t write that article for him, but something about his amused expression hinted that he was convinced you did so.
- “No, it’s not about that.”
- “Okay, then are you going to apologize?”
It’d only been one minute and you were already annoyed.
- “No, I’m not.”
Jinyoung raised his eyebrows, genuinely surprised that you hadn’t come to apologize.
- “Why not?”
- “Because I’m not sorry” you simply said with a shrug.
He snorted in disbelief.
- “Then why am I even listening to you?”
You were internally boiling up, but you held on.
- “Because I can explain everything.”
- “Oh, so you can explain stuff but not apologize?”
- “Will you stop being a jerk and listen to me?” you snapped, out of patience.
Jinyoung rolled his eyes and, once again, you feared he would ask you to leave or say something mean again, but he didn’t. He urged you to speak, and so you did.
You explained everything, not omitting a single detail. You told him that you wrote that article when you weren’t close to him or GOT7 yet. You told him that you only wrote about what you saw and your opinion on it, because that was your job. You saw that JYP Entertainment had too much control over GOT7, whom let that happen without protesting, which made them look like children under their company’s influence, at least from your point of view. You were paid to be honest, not to please the artists you were writing about. Yes, it was unfortunate that it took so long for things to reveal themselves as they truly were, but there was nothing you could do about it. You explained to Jinyoung that he had the right to be upset about it, but he also had to try and understand. You also made it clear that you didn’t write the second, more flattering article to seek forgiveness for him, but because it was the truth and it needed to come out.
The entire time you spoke, Jinyoung had his arms resting on his thighs, hands intertwined, nodding his head every now and then. He seemed to listen carefully, but you just weren’t sure anymore. You never knew what to expect from this man: one minute he’s acting all petty and condescending, the other he’s serious and attentive. He kept you on your toes, and your heart was pounding in your chest the entire time.
Once you’re finished, he doesn’t say anything, looking down, as if processing all the information you’d given. You sigh in relief, feeling a heavy weight being taken off your shoulders.
- “... I see” Jinyoung murmurs after a minute of silence.
- “Yeah, so that’s why” you say, wiping your sweaty hands on your pants.
- “Cool” he says, a sweet smile on his face. “I guess you can go now.”
Your jaw dropped.
- “Is that it? Is that all you have to say?”
- “What were you expecting? Make up sex?”
- “No, you idiot” you said, fuming. “Don’t you have anything you wanna tell me? Something around the lines of ‘I’m Sorry’?”
- “Why should I apologize when you refuse to?”
- “Because you called me a bitch, Jinyoung.”
- “And you called me a puppet.”
- “I just told you I was only doing my job!” you practically screamed.
- “You hurt my pride!” he deadpanned, just as loud.
A fake, irritated laugh escaped you.
- “That’s a ridiculous excuse.”
- “Your ‘I was doing my job’ shit is just as funny to me” he pointed out.
- “Well I’m not going to apologize, Jinyoung” you said stubbornly, crossing your arms on your chest with a little huff.
- “Me neither” he replied, imitating your position.
After a duel of looks that seemed to last forever, Jinyoung finally spoke out.
- “Fine. Let’s settle on common ground: we both fucked up real bad, and we’re even now.”
You wanted to voice out your disagreement and tell him that wasn’t fair, but you stopped yourself. It probably took him a lot to admit that he even fucked up. There was an effort from him. It wasn’t enough, but it was quite a progress, Also, you were tired of fighting. You just wanted him back in your life, somehow, anyhow.
- “Okay. So are we good now?”
- “We’re good” he nodded. “Now if you don’t mind, I want to sleep.”
He stood up from the bed and proceeded in walking you out of his room. You sighed, highly doubting the sincerity of his words. He was dismissing you again, and you’d have done all of that for nothing. You followed him, confused and disappointed. Were you about to lose him for good this time? You really couldn’t tell anymore. You were ready to surrender and apologize right now if it meant he would stop being mad at you, but before you could speak, he stopped in his track and turned to you.
- “It must’ve been stressful. Having all of that in your mind, enduring my vengeful behavior and then arguing and stuff.”
You blinked, not seeing where he was trying to get.
- “Yeah, it was... I guess. Why?”
- “I don’t know” he shrugged. “I was thinking maybe we should go to the bar downstairs and have a drink before we sleep. So you can, you know, unwind.”
You stared blankly at him for a second, puzzled. But then, something clicked in your brain and you smiled teasingly.
- “Is this your own roundabout way of saying sorry? Is this a date?”
- “Absolutely not, dear. You’re paying for your own drink” he said, walking back to put on his shoes.
He had his back turned on you so you couldn’t see his face, but you could swear you saw his ears redden.
- “Are you coming or not, before I tie these?” he asked, feigning impatience and gesturing towards his shoelaces.
You shook your head. Jinyoung was literally hopeless. But oh well, that would only be another challenge for you. After making him beg, next step would be making him apologize. And with that, you followed him downstairs, reminding yourself to always refer to this night as your first date just to piss him off.
a/n: hello and thanks for reading the Not Sorry mini-series hehe 🖤 i hope you enjoyed the story, don’t hesitate to give me feedback, i appreciate it a lot! a special thanks to the person who requested this story, i enjoyed writing it so much. 🖤

Part One
GOT7 weren’t puppets.
It was only after the comeback that you realized how unbothered and independent they actually were. When the comeback was released, their company barely even did things right. The boys had to work for themselves, promote their newest album the best they could, and even go on a tour that JYP Entertainment had completely messed up. It took you a few more weeks to realize that GOT7 weren’t driven by their company. They were driven by their passion for music and their love for their fans.
Their fans were particularly amazing. If you had many prejudices about the K-Pop community, they were proven wrong after GOT7 dropped their comeback. They were so supportive of their idols, appreciating their music and their performances over anything else. They particularly blew you away when Jaebeom himself, against all odds, revealed that he wanted ‘PAGE’ to be the title track. A roar of protests immediately ensued, the fans taking over what the idols couldn’t do: disagree with the company. GOT7 were, indirectly but constantly, asking their fans to trust them, for they knew what they were doing, and they would always continue and try to give them the best music they could.
They were great artists, but they were even better people. As time passed, you became closer and closer with the boys. They made the first move towards you, actually, since you were reluctant to be friends with them. They invited you over for dinner, and let you know that they didn’t want everything to be so formal between you. You were more and more surprised at how amazing these boys were, and it wasn’t long until you became their actual friend. You hung out with them in your free hours, casually texted them, went sight-seeing with them while they were on tour... You enjoyed their company a lot, but especially Jinyoung’s.
Jinyoung was the one who caught your attention first out of all the boys, because of his reaction during the meeting. After that day, you found yourself unconsciously attracted to him. His features were a pleasure to the eyes, he was very nice, intelligent, level-headed and witty, it was hard for you to stay indifferent. At first, you were only admiring him from afar, but then he approached you and you two started talking. You told him about your impression during the meeting, and he told you had guessed right. He revealed that the situation with JYP Entertainment annoyed him to the highest, and that he often struggled to not let it show. As you continued talking, you found out you had much more in common with him than you thought, which made it even harder for you to stay indifferent to his charms.
The very first time you had sex with Jinyoung, you thought you were screwed. You must’ve had some effect on him too because, a few weeks after the comeback release, you found yourself backed against the mirror of their dance practice room one late night, your legs locked behind his back and him balls deep inside you. You didn’t know exactly how it happened or why, nor did you care. It felt good. God, it felt way too good. The day after, when you though it would be all awkwardness and slippery glances, Jinyoung was totally cool about it. He never treated you differently, never let what happened affect your relationship with the boys. You appreciated it so much that, to thank him, you had sex with him again. And again. And again. You had never meant for a GOT7 member to become your dick appointment, but the alchemy between you and Jinyoung was so strong you just couldn’t resist. From then on, it became your regular thing, your dirty little secret.
Your relationship was purely physical when it started, but you couldn’t deny that you’d like it to evolve into something else, something more serious. Of course, you would have to get to know him better and not stick to what he was capable of in the bedroom. You dropped hints here and there about dating, about being in an actual relationship, and he seemed open to it. Although, just a few months ago, K-Pop idols weren’t your favorite things, you were now seriously considering starting a relationship with one.
For that, and for many other reasons, you started feeling bad about the first article you wrote. Actually, you didn’t exactly regret it, because what you had written was only the harsh truth. You just felt guilty for not giving GOT7 a chance to show you what they were really about. If you had given them a bit more time, you could’ve written in your article that yes, GOT7 were overly controlled by their company, but they weren’t limited to that. There were so many other things to say about them, if only you weren’t so quick to submit that article. Thankfully, you still had some time left with your contract to set things aright.
You were in your hotel room, across from GOT7’s rooms where the boys were resting after today’s concert. You were typing away at your computer, writing a much more positive article about GOT7, when you heard the doorknob turn. It was already past midnight, there could only be one person to come into your room at such an hour, the one person you hadn’t locked your door for. You rose from your bed and welcomed Jinyoung by putting your arms around his neck ad pressing your lips against his. He pulled away and smiled mischievously before he grabbed your hips and turned you around, slamming you against the door. You squealed, but he didn’t even let you recover from your surprise before immediately attacking your neck with his mouth.
- “J-Jinyoung... You shouldn’t do that, someone could hear us” you said, trying to sound upset, even though you couldn’t deny that the idea of getting caught sent chills down your entire body.
He knew it, and he smiled against your skin.
- “I don’t care” he groaned, resuming his ministrations.
With the world tour going on, you two didn’t have much time for yourselves, especially while trying to keep your encounters secret. You could tell Jinyoung was frustrated from seeing you everyday and not being able to touch you for almost two weeks. If you were being honest, you were just as frustrated. But you took his unusual neediness as an opportunity. After letting him have his fun sucking on your neck and roaming his hands up and down your sides, you whispered in his ear:
- “Bed, now.”
He pulled you with him towards the bed and pushed you down on the mattress. He removed his white t-shirt, discarded it on the floor and hovered above you. But before he could position himself correctly, you wrapped one leg around him and used your weight to switch positions so that you were straddling his lap. Jinyoung gasped in surprise, then he smirked, excited about what you had in store for him. You lowered yourself and kissed him languidly, while your hands travelled down his toned chest to his abdomen, feeling him shiver from your touch. He let his own hands feel up your body, leaving tingles on their wake through the thin fabric of your dressing gown. A strained sound between a moan and a groan escaped his throat when you ground down on him, his grip on you tightening as he became even more desperate.
You crawled down until your face was leveled with his growing bulge and, teasingly slow, you pulled his pants down, letting his cock spring free. You stroked it a few times, barely grazing your fingers against it, savoring the sight of him being completely fucked out, even though you hadn’t done anything yet. His chest rose and fell in anticipation, as he watched your hands move up his shaft.
- “Just do something already” he snapped after a few seconds that felt like forever to him.
You obliged, wasting no time and wrapping your lips around his tip. You swirled your tongue around it and slowly lowered down his length, taking him in your mouth until he hit the back of your throat. Jinyoung’s head immediately fell back and his hand grabbed a fistful of your hair when you started bobbing your head and pleasured him for the first time in so long. His breathy moans and low groans caused a pool of arousal to form between your thighs as you sucked him off, alternating your pace, driving him crazy. Right when he felt his high approaching, you abruptly stopped and slipped him out of your mouth. His eyes shot wide at you with a “Why the fuck did you stop?” look, but you had other plans for him
You stripped from your dress, exposing yourself to him, and his eyes darkened at the sight of your bare body. You also stepped out from your panties and went back to straddle him. His blown-out eyes scanned every inch of your body, and his hand went up to cup one of your breasts. You took his hand, drove it to your mouth and started sucking on his finger. He whimpered shakily when you ground down on him again, spreading your wetness onto his cock. You rocked your hips again, harder, soliciting another strained sound from him. You repeated your movements a few more times before aligning him with your entrance. You looked directly into his eyes and lowered, letting him in just a little, before rising again and pulling him out.
Jinyoung no longer tried to hide his frustration when you did it again and again, not giving him what he wanted.
- “What are you doing” he said through ragged breaths.
- “Want something?” you asked with a smirk. “Beg for it.”
He immediately caught on what you were doing and refused to obey, instead he lifted his hips to thrust up into you, but you held him down by pressing your hands on his stomach, making it clear that he wasn’t getting around it that easily.
- “Beg” you repeated.
- “No” he replied, stubborn as ever.
- “Alright then.”
You lowered yourself enough to get his tip inside you before pulling him out again, smiling to yourself as he groaned and threw his head back in irritation.
- “We have all night, babe.”
And you weren’t joking. You continued teasing him, denying him satisfaction. He held on at first, hoping you would lose first and stop playing, but he quickly understood that you were being serious. A few minutes later, beads of sweat were forming on his forehead and he felt his resolve break.
- “This is torture... I can’t take it anymore.”
- “You know what to do, Jinyoung” you cooed.
- “Alright” he finally said, and you smiled victoriously. “Alright, please. Please, I need you so bad, please, just- Fuck!”
You didn’t let him finish his sentence, immediately impaling yourself on his dick in one swift movement. He felt his vision blur as you started riding him, the sight of your body rolling on top of him almost too much for him to take. He gripped the sheets tightly, trying to control himself. The sound your moans mixed with his filled the room. You started bouncing on him at a quicker pace, and you felt him twitch, signaling he was close. Luckily for him, you were just as close, your little teasing game making you too worked up to last long. Jinyoung came first, his hands grabbing at your thighs as he spilled inside you, his moans of intense relief triggering your own orgasm. You cried out in pleasure, supporting your weight on his stomach, while you continued rocking your hips to help you ride it out.
When you came down from your high, you collapsed next to Jinyoung on the bed, as you both tried to regain your breaths.
- “That was intense” you say.
- “I missed that” he replies.
When you finished cleaning up and he had his clothes back on, you walked him back to the door and kissed him goodnight.
- “Tomorrow night, same hour?” you asked while pecking his lips.
- “Deal, but no more teasing. You hurt my pride” he said, clutching his chest and pretending to be offended.
You laughed and, after one final kiss, you closed the door shut and went back to your computer. You finished writing your second article about GOT7 and submitted it by e-mail to put it on standby for publication. Before you went to sleep, you happily thought that this experience with the boys was not as bad you thought it’d be, and mentally thanked them for opening your eyes. But most importantly, you thought of how excited you already were for tomorrow night’s little appointment.
But at past one o’clock the following night, Jinyoung was still not there. You had tried texting and calling, but you got no response. He wasn’t in the best mood today during the rehearsal, and you thought it might’ve been caused by a fight between the boys, so you didn’t think much of it. However, Jinyoung had never stood you up. You started to worry and, determined to find out what as wrong, you got out of your room and knocked on his door.
You were starting to shiver from the cold temperature in the hallway and you were about to get back to your room, assuming he was asleep. Just when you were about to turn around and leave, the door swung open, revealing a very sleepy and annoyed Jinyoung.
- “What do you want?” he spat, clearly not wanting to talk to you.
- “I... I was just wondering what you were doing” you said, taken aback by his hostile attitude. “I mean, we made plans yesterday.”
- “Well plans cancelled, goodnight” he mumbled and attempted to close the door, but you pushed it back open.
- “Hey wait. What the hell’s wrong with you? Are you mad at me? Did I do something?”
He looked at you with disbelief and a hint of disgust that saddened you a lot.
- “Did you do something? You’re seriously asking me if you did something?”
He headed inside his rooms and you heard him fumble around, until he ccame back with his phone in his hands. A horrible feeling made your insides churn, because you already knew what he was about to show you. He shoved his screen in front of your face, his browser opened on an article, your article, the very first one that you wrote. You had secretly hoped he wouldn’t find it, that your newest article would have more success and that he would read it instead. But you realized now how dumb that thought was, and you should’ve told Jinyoung about that article before he found out himself. But now it was too late.
- “Jinyoung, I-”
- “Unrealistic children. Peter Pan syndrome. Puppets” he listed out, reading the very words from your article on his phone. “Is this what you think of us, Y/N? Is this really how you see us?”
- “No, listen-”
- “No, you listen. I can’t believe you wrote this shit about us while you were literally living with us and telling us how cool and how great and how amazing we were. How could you say that to our faces while writing such degrading things about us behind our backs? You’re lucky I’m not gonna show this to the boys because they’re gonna hate you.”
- “Will you let me speak?” you pleaded.
- “No. I don’t want to hear you. I don’t want to speak to you again. You were a hypocritical bitch to me, and I don’t wanna have anything to do with you ever again. Now listen closely: tonight, tomorrow, forever, plans cancelled. Goodnight.”
And with that, he slammed the door shut, leaving you outside his room and, apparently, outside his life.

(i hope this is what you wanted, anon 💙)
When you met Jinyoung, your first thought was that he looked way too young to be Haerin's dad. He’s the one who showed up at your very first parents-teacher meeting, and to say you were surprised was an understatement. He then introduced himself as Haerin's uncle, and your second thought was that he must love her a lot. Jinyoung is obviously a busy man, since he always arrives late to fetch his niece whenever he has too. His sister (Haerin's mom) is even busier, so much that he must take care of the little girl more often than he should.
Him always being late only results in you staying in the classroom with Haerin until he arrives, to which he apologizes by giving you a ride home every time. That's why you're neither surprised nor worried when it's almost 5 pm this afternoon and he still hasn't showed up. You're in the middle of hanging out with her in the empty classroom when she leaves to go to the bathroom. A few minutes pass and, when she doesn't come back, you start to worry and decide to go looking for her.
Midway through the hallway, you hear noises from outside the school building and immediately go see what's happening. Once in the yard, you find Haerin, ambushed by two older male kids throwing scrunched up pieces of paper at the poor little girl. She was probably trying to run from them and ended up here, encircled and backed against a wall.
⁃ "Take this, you weirdo!"
⁃ "Right between the eyes, good job!"
⁃ "Are you gonna cry? Are you gonna call your mommy?"
You cleared your throat, interrupting their obnoxious laughter and wicked actions.
- "Can I know what's going on here?"
Taken off guard, the boys exchange a look before one of them answers:
- "We’re just playing."
- "Well, she doesn't look like she wants to play with you."
- "We weren't doing anything wrong, we were just-"
- "I saw what you were doing, don’t take me for a fool” you say, rolling your eyes. "Seriously? Attacking a harmless girl like this? What did she even do to you?"
The boys don't say anything, instead looking at each other, then at Haerin, then back at you.
- "Ohhh, I see" you say with an amused smile. "It makes you guys feel strong and cool and badass. It makes you feel like you're grown up men who can do whatever they want. Am I right?"
The boys start to look uncomfortable, almost bashful now. The other, smaller one of them takes a step forward and says:
- "That's none of your business. Leave us alone, we were having fun before you came."
You raise a brow and put one hand on your hip.
- "For your information, I teach here, young boy. I could snap my fingers like this and you'd both be expelled from this school."
The boys look terrified now, as they should be. It's a quite big school, not everyone knows each other, plus you were only assigned to fourth grade, Haerin's class. It's no surprise that they don't know who you are.
- " But I'm not gonna do that because you're just two young idiots who have a lot to learn from going to school, right? Now have some decency and apologize to the girl."
All of them, including Haerin, open their eyes wide. The boys hesitate for a good five seconds before you repeat, more firmly this time:
- "Apologize. To. The. Girl."
They mumble a quick "sorry", head hanging low.
- "Now leave, before I change my mind and inform the headmaster."
It doesn't take longer for them to run out the school like mad men, and you watch them go, shaking your head. How does this kind of thing even happen in primary school? You turn to a very shocked Haerin and crouch down in front of her.
- "You okay?"
She nods and croaks a weak "Thank you".
- "Who were they, hm? Why do you think they did that to you?"
- "I don't know" she says, looking down. "Just some fifth graders. They think I'm weird."
- "And why would they think that?"
- "... Maybe it's because I don't talk a lot. And because I'm always on my own. They say I look like a stray dog and they don't like me."
- "Well you know what? Let them think whatever they want. Are you a stray dog, Haerin?"
She slowly shakes her head.
- "No you're not, and you know it. Next time people say that to you, don't let them. Fight back. Don't let them make you feel like you're less than an amazing, smart and talented girl. Okay?"
You put out your fist for her to bump, and she does with the brightest smile.
- "Oh" you say, turning to the parking lot. "Look who's here."
Jinyoung waves at the two of you while he gets out of the car.
- "Sorry for being late. I'll drop you at your place, as usual?"
- "No problem, thanks. Just give me a second, I left my bag in the classroom."
You head back into the building and Jinyoung watches you intently. When he met you for the first time, you were nothing but Haerin's arts teacher. After talking to you more often, he found out you were a very fun, smart and kind-hearted person, and he’s been a bit interested in you ever since then. He never really knew if he liked you or not, but after seeing what you just did, he was sure.
He had just arrived on the parking lot when he saw Haerin being chased by those two boys who were evidently bullying her. He was about to get out and give them a piece of his mind, but you stepped in just in time. He watched as you handled the situation perfectly, without even raising your voice, and made the boys apologize. He watched as you cheered up his niece and made her smile, while you gave her a smile of your own that Jinyoung instantly found irresistible. At that very moment, he knew he liked you, and he knew he had to make his move.
- “She’s really nice huh, your teacher?” he asks Haerin as he takes her schoolbag and putting it on his shoulder.
- “She is.”
She looks up at her uncle, whom is to busy staring at you through the windows. She follows his stare, and easily puts on and one together. She grins playfully and smacks Jinyoung on the arm.
- “You’re in love with her, aren’t you?”
- “What?” he exclaims, startled. “No, what are you saying.”
Haerin pouts and crosses her arms on her chest. Jinyoung flashes her a teasing smile before adding:
- “I just want to get to know her better, that’s all.”
The little girl smiles again, not hiding her happiness at the thought of his favourite uncle and his favourite teacher being a couple.
- “Here I am” you sing-song, meeting them at the car, swinging your bag over your shoulder.
- “Umm… I was thinking” Jinyoung says, his nerves apparent.
You would be lying if you said you didn’t find Jinyoung cute, and you could tell he was interested in you, no matter how hard he tries to hide it. Every time he would give you a ride home, he would always hesitate before saying goodbye, as if he wanted to say something but couldn’t bring himself to. You never insisted, not wanting to pressure him, but now you have a clear idea of what he’s going to say to you.
- “I was thinking maybe instead of going home right away, we could get some ice cream first?”
That’s exactly what you wanted to hear. With a wide, beaming smile, you answer:

allowed myself to change some things but i hope you like it, anon :)
You pressed the pause button on your computer and stood up from your bed, wondering who would come looking for you at such a late hour. When you opened the door, Ashley was standing behind it, glaring at you.
- "Did something happen?" you asked.
- "We broke up."
You blinked, not sure you heard well.
- "Sorry, what?"
- "Jackson and I broke up" she repeated louder insisting on each word.
You couldn't believe what you were hearing. How did that happen? And why was she talking to you as if it was your fault?
- "I... Oh my God, I'm sorry to hear that. Why-"
- "He found out about the surprise. He figured out you were the one behind it and not me."
Her tone was venomous, you could tell she hadn't taken the time to breathe and rearrange her thoughts before coming to talk to you. She was still in a state of shock, for which you couldn't blame her. You immediately expected her to spit out things she would regret later, and prepared yourself mentally for what was to come... But that wouldn't be enough against what Ashley had to say.
⁃ "He figured it out so easily actually, that it made me wonder. Y/N, what the fuck is going on between you and Jackson?"
- "Listen, that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard you say. There is nothing going on."
- "Then how?" she asked, her voice raising. "How is it possible that he found out so easily? It's only because it was you. He always knows when it's you. You've always been closer to him than I have ever been in our entire relationship."
You were flabbergasted. What the hell were you supposed to answer that? Before you could say anything, she continued.
- "Look at me in the eyes and tell me there's nothing going on between you and Jackson."
For a split second, you panicked. Luckily for you, you knew exactly what to say. You looked her dead in the eye and said, as calmly as possible:
- "You're crazy. Jackson is my best friend."
You would never admit to anyone, and especially not to his girlfriend, that you were in love with him. You'd done such a great job keeping it for yourself through the years, and that wasn't going to change now. Nothing had ever happened between you and Jackson simply because, unlike you, he had never seen you as anything other than a friend. You were only saying the truth.
- "You know what? Fine. I get it, you guys are friends. But maybe that's the problem. My relationship with Jackson hasn't been the best these past few months, and all I asked was for you to help me about it, but you did the exact opposite" she blurted out.
At that point, you were starting to lose your cool, but her next words were all it took for you to finally snap.
⁃ "You destroy everything you touch, Y/N. Maybe you should do me a favor, do everyone a favor, do yourself a favor and stop being friends with him."

a/n: hello and welcome to a brand new story with Jinyoung! i really really hope you’ll enjoy this one as much as you enjoyed my story with Mark that you can find here if you haven’t read it yet. also this chapter is kind short cause it’s a little bit of an introduction and like placing the context. i hope you’re looking forward to reading the rest :) enjoy!
Music and writing were what you loved the most, and your job was a perfect combination of the two. You were paid to go to different places across South Korea, discover new music and write about it afterwards. You honestly couldn’t have dreamed of a better job, or so you thought.
You had always made it clear that you only liked working in the underground and independent music field, but your boss had other plans for you. When he announced that you would have to write a series of articles about GOT7, JYP Entertainment’s top boy group, you wanted to refuse. Of all things, you avoided the K-Pop industry, with its almighty companies and untouchable idols. You didn’t want to work with your hands tied behind your back. Unfortunately, you weren’t really in a good place to refuse and not do your job. You sucked it up, repeating yourself that this would, at least, pay rent and afford food. Hopefully it would only happen once then never again.
You were integrated into GOT7’s lifestyle after signing a bunch of privacy contracts. When you started “hanging out” with them, you were nothing more than the girl with the notebook in the corner of the room, trying to make yourself as small as possible so that the boys would forget even your very presence. Things went smoothly for the first few days, a little bit too smoothly for your liking, actually. They were in mid-preparation of their comeback, so all you had to do was go with them to the studio and watch them record and work on the tracks with their producers. You were impressed at how good they were, but you weren’t too surprised about it. GOT7’s success must’ve come from somewhere, anyways. So, you spent most of your time finding out things you already knew, not having much to work with.
That was until, one day, the boys had a meeting with JYP himself to discuss the promotional part of the comeback. The overly commercial side of the K-Pop industry was what annoyed you the most, but you were ready to put your biased opinion aside and be professional about it. The meeting started out normally: the boys and their head producer listened to each track from the album, to which JYP made a few remarks and suggestions. When the last track titled ‘PAGE’ started playing, you saw the boys’ faces light up with pride at Jaebeom, their leader’s good work. Even you had to admit that the song was very well-written, had a good message, and the melody was catchy. The song itself had a fresh vibe to it that you particularly liked. After the song ended, BamBam whistled in admiration and said:
- “Wow, that’s gonna make an amazing title track.”
You had indeed heard the boys talk about ‘PAGE’ being their title track, mentioning that JYP had already let them promote songs they had produced themselves in the past. They were so confident about it that you only found it normal for BamBam to talk about ‘PAGE’ as if it was already the title track of the album.
- “Umm... I don’t agree with that.”
Silence fell upon the room as the head producer continued speaking.
- “It’s a really nice song, right? Really nice. JB, you did really well.” He scrunched his nose before continuing: “But I don’t think it fits as the title track. It doesn’t have that thing, that specific GOT7 color that people enjoy. It’s not what people are used to hearing from you guys. I think we should leave ‘PAGE’ as a b-side track and promote ‘Eclipse’ instead, what do you think?”
From the tone of his voice, you felt he was implicitly giving them a command rather than asking for their opinion. But apparently, you were the only one who seemed to notice, because everyone agreed quite enthusiastically. In the span of three minutes, while you were still processing what had just happened, ‘Eclipse’, the song that JYP himself had written and produced with JB’s participation, was definitively chosen as the title track of the album.
You were extremely disappointed. Music was supposed to be done for the music, not for the people. Why should there be some sort of market research around it? That was the exact thing you couldn’t stand about K-Pop. It was only ever exploited to make profit. The public’s opinion matters so much to the sales that idols renounce their own identity, only to fit the image that everyone is expecting them to give out. Their creativity was limited, their freedom was almost nonexistent, everything they did was managed by their company. And the worst part of it was that the boys did not even try and protest, simply accepting their fate being thrown into other people’s hands, as if that was the most normal thing on earth.
The only person who seemed a little upset about this situation was probably Jinyoung. After JYP spoke, he kept rubbing the back of his head every other minute. Maybe he was frustrated, maybe he was just tired, you didn’t know, and you didn’t need to know. He didn’t say anything against the company’s decision either. He was just as much of a puppet as the other members.
That night, you submitted your first article to your editor to put it on standby for publication. What you wrote was harsh, you conceded. But you only said the truth, the unbiased, too often silenced truth. Before submitting the article, youyour thoughts drifted to Jinyoung and you wondered, one last time, if he was really okay with his situation. Were any of the boys, actually? But Jinyoung in particular, since he was visibly having trouble hiding his discomfort during the meeting. Could it be that he found this industry just as unfair as you did? What would he think of your article if he read it?
You quickly brushed those thoughts off. You were internally convinced that Jinyoung and the boys didn’t even care about what you had to write about them. They were probably used to seeing people like you coming and going all the time and always saying different things. Little did you know that, soon enough, Jinyoung would become a way bigger part of your life... But most importantly, that article you wrote would come and resurface to turn everything upside down.
