IMPORTANT INFO FOR WHATâS CURRENTLY HAPPENING IN TRUMPâS AMERICA: a lot of unwarranted raids are happening across the U.S right now. The latest states that have been targeted by this massive sweep is California, Arizona, Texas, and now Georgia. Over 100 people have been detained, most likely without a warrant. And before someone says âtheyâre just keeping the criminals out!1!â, lawyers who were able to consult some of the people detained did not have a criminal record. There have also been reports of officers trailing kids walking home from school to lead to their parents.  These officers DO NOT. HAVE. THE RIGHT. TO DETAIN PEOPLE. WITHOUT. A WARRANT. Â
KNOW YOUR RIGHTS AND DONâT FORGET TO #RESIST
Hereâs some more info on whatâs happening in GeorgiaÂ
I told you the Muslims were the first step. Theyâre coming after Latinos with no criminal records in their own homes now. Three minutes from my house they detained over 100 people yesterday and literally dragged them out of their houses. They are pulling drivers over on the streets asking for papers. They are following school buses home and arresting parents when they meet the children at the stops. Theyâre not releasing the names of anyone they have apprehended. Theyâre not answering any questions from journalists/CHIRLA/the public or giving reasons as to why theyâre detaining people without access to immigration attorneys. ICE has gone rogue and it seems to be in retaliation for the 9th circuit ruling against the Muslim Ban. It was clear that the Justice Department was losing during arguments on Tuesday and about 24 hours later random raids all across the country started happening? Not a coincidence.
Meanwhile on Twitter, Republicans are challenging each other to see who can report more âillegal looking peopleâ to the ICE tip line. There are accounts proudly boasting their report tallies and encouraging more to follow suit. Others are saying they reported their neighbors or friends of friends. Any resemblance to Nazi Germany is not unintentional. Be safe out there. Weâve waded into very dangerous territory.
Hereâs something to chew on.

In case you wanna read the article this quote is from: http://rolereboot.org/culture-and-politics/details/2016-05-daughter-know-ok-angry/
Adaptable girls find socially acceptable ways to internalize or channel their discomfort and ire, sometimes at great personal cost. Passive aggressive behavior, anxiety, and depression are common effects. Sarcasm, apathy, and meanness have all been linked to suppressed rage. Troublesome behaviors, such as lying, skipping school, bullying other people, even being socially awkward are often signs that a teenager is dealing with anger that they are unable to name as anger.
Girls, taught to ignore their anger, become disassociated from themselves.
Anger is so successfully sublimated that girls lose the ability to understand what it feels and looks like. Is her heart racing? Does she feel flushed or shaky? Does she clench her jaws at night? Is she breaking out in hives? Does she cry for no reason? Laugh inappropriately during difficult conversations? Fly off the handle over something that seems inconsequential? You can see where Iâm going hereâŠthose crazy girl hormones, right? Better to just think of it as a phase.
For too many women, however, the phase never ends. Itâs lives spent never expressing anger at all and believing that they donât have the right or ability to do so without great risk.
Ok this is important. I feel like this all the time.
Iâm learning to reclaim my anger and Itâs been fucking great
A white:Â but saying Asians are naturally smart is POSITIVE discrimination:)))
Me:Â The model minority myth was invented by whites as a tool of antiblackness to create divisions between communities of color and prove that âanyone can succeed in America if they just TRY hard enough!!1!â thereby implying that antiblackness is black pplâs own fault for not TRYING enough. Additionally, it relies on false interpretations of data and hurts the opportunities of all Asians, particularly less privileged ones, and dehumanizes Asians by furthering stereotypes of us as some kind of innately robot-like monolithic-minded hive, devalues our individual accomplishments and uses us as a tool to further antiblackness

We all need to pay attention to this.
Thereâs been a lot of discussion surrounding Donald Trump and the so-called âalt-rightâ (which is basically a term for white nationalism) in the weeks that have passed since the 2016 election. Many members of the white nationalist group have been outspoken Trump supporters, including the founder of the movement itself, Richard Spencer. Trump has also appointed Steve Bannon as his chief strategist â a man who has been heavily associated with the âalt-right.â
The âalt-rightâ is known for its extremist and racist views, as well as being severely anti-Semitic. It seems like the association between the Trump campaign and neo-Nazis wonât be broken any time soon, as his chosen national security advisor, General Mike Flynn, recently met with Heinz-Christian Strache â the head of Austriaâs far-right Freedom Party, which was established by former Nazis after World War II.
The Freedom Party was originally created to be a safe haven for Nazis and Nazi sympathizers after World War II and the Holocaust. In the â80s, Jörg Haider became its leader, and the party took a turn toward right-wing populism with a strong anti-immigration stance. As the New York Times explains, today, the party is âanti-foreigner, anti-Islam and anti-globalizationâ making it an appealing party for Europeâs far-right â much like the white nationalist âalt-rightâ in the U.S.
It should be obvious that this meeting between Trumpâs National Security Advisor and the leader of a neo-Nazi movement is extremely alarming. This meeting calls back to the words of representatives from the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum, who spoke out after the âalt-rightâ held a chilling conference in Washington D.C. praising Trump. They reminded us, through their statement, that the Holocaust didnât begin with killing â it began with words.
Well we know which Magazine is getting shutdown on January 21st. Cause Teen Vogue is on fire with how much they hate Trump and it is commendable.
Teen Vogueâs editor in chief is Elaine Welteroth!
sheâs the youngest editor in chief and the second black woman to hold such a title in the history of Conte Nast publishing.

Note to my ex.
Today my professor told me every cell in our entire body is destroyed and replaced every seven years. How comforting it is to know that one day I will have a body that you will have never touched.
This just made me feel so warm.
thank you.
Important especially for victims of abuse, remember your body is yours and it heals in more ways than you realize.
I reblog this every time I see it because every time, Iâm a little more me and a little less you.
