Hi! i never ever wanted to make a post like this on this blog but i don't have a choice.

i live with my mom and older brother. my mom is diabetic and my older brother and myself are disabled. mom's been trying to find work - she has a PhD!! - but she's unable to find anything and she's been out of work since May 2023. we're already a month behind on rent and at this rate we're going to be another month behind. we're out of food, we can't put gas in the car, we're behind on every bill, and i'm going to be out of my pain meds on Sunday and won't even be able to pay the $4 to refill them.

we're not a family that asks for help, even in emergencies. my mom doesnt even know i'm making this post. we always just try to make things work with what we have - "even if they decide to evict us, we'll still have 30 days from that to figure something out." thats what my mom said recently. i wouldn't make a post like this unless i was truly desperate.

hi again. the situation is really bad. i havent eaten in two days. please help. my mom has lost 8 poubds in the past week. we're out of cat food and my cats are going hungry. even if we could just get $40, we could get enough food to last us until payday. my brothers and my disability money comes on friday and after that we'll be okay. please please help. im begging, please help us. 🥺 please.
