Rewatched 'chess with omega red' again and looking back this time, I really hope that Arkady was allowed to hold on to the C-Synthesiser.

Being in the Mutant Prison would mean he would have to wear one of those collars that disables mutant powers, and in Arkady's case, that would render his healing factor useless, which besides the C-Synthesiser, is the only thing that's preventing him from dying of Carbonadium poisoning.

As we see in the movie with Deadpool, he is practically being killed off by his cancer whilst in the prison -- since his body obviously can't heal itself as quickly as it would have been able to without the collar. This leads me to believe that Arkady would also end up life-threateningly damaged by his Carbonadium poisoning without his healing factor, and especially without his C-Synthesiser.

I do feel like Arkady would end up dying though since the people behind the Mutant Prison don't seem to care if an inmate dies of their own bodily accord, such as a disease they already had before entering the prison (I didn't know how to phrase that in any other way lol).

Arkady's probable fate does make me a bit sad. I really want to imagine that he instead escapes somehow and is able to get out of his collar or something similar. Probably wouldn't happen though.

I hope so too. A consolation is that Arkady did at least look ok while he was in prison, not like he was actively dying, so he either could have had the C-Synthesizer while locked up or the prison had a sort of "disposal agreement" with him where they would let the collar be turned off for a set amount of time to kill [insert prisoner] to fulfill his needs, using him as a control method to keep other prisoners in line. If they misbehaved, he would get them for "dinner."

It wouldn't be the most surprising method of control, since he has a long history of having his health used against him to get him to do something he wouldn't do otherwise. But that would mean he is trapped in a pretty sucky cycle of being used by the prison.

Either way, I have the same hopes you do, OP. He deserves better than dying a painful death from radiation poisoning.

Having Arkady be used to kill other inmates wasn't something I thought of, but totally makes sense! It would be idiotic for the people behind the prison to not use a literal human weapon, under their control, to do their bidding. Despite that this idea is extremely inhumane (though I doubt the prison would care) I think this may be the most likely thing to happen if they wanted to keep him alive.
