Hmmm… The Girl using a Sword rather an Axe seems like a smoking gun (smoking blade?) that she just can’t be Susie, but… I’ve been thinking about the Symbolism of most of the Swords in the Dark World being Writing implements…

A symbolism the game itself just pointed out.

There’s a potentially fun play here with swords already being the Weapon associated with an RPG’s main protagonists/player characters, and also the symbolism of holding a pencil/pen to show you’re the person with the agency to change the story and master your own fate. So it’s like equating being the “Main Hero” to being able to ‘write your own stories”.

Kris, the actual person holding the ‘Sword’ right now and presented on the surface as the ‘Main Character’ actually has a lot of problems with actual narrative agency. Some obvious (like our possession of them), some less so (being the only ‘Dark Hero’ who always ‘carries out fate’ and never 'faces' it.)

Susie is obviously the one most likely to resist the path laid out before her…

So I’m thinking about the concept of Susie deliberately picking up a Pencil/Sword to make herself the Girl from the Prophecy.

Like, she’ll literally declare her intention to re-write the story by arming herself with a ‘Writing Weapon’ while also deliberately writing herself into the Story with the same action. Making herself into the ‘Chosen One’ instead of accepting the ‘fact’ that she was not supposed to be chosen.

… Of course, that would have to be one hell of a Sword, cause it will also need to satisfy Susie’s aesthetic desire for Big Badass Weapons. Like, the literal reason she doesn’t use Swords right now is that she thinks Kris’ are too puny.

But… maybe she figures out how to craft her own Big-Ass Sword (befitting her status as a kinda-student of Gerson, who was also a Blacksmith) or figures out the mechanics of the Dark World enough to go inside with a Giant Novelty Pencil or something?

This is related to the idea that Kris loses the SOUL (or rather gives it up). Susie getting a pencil now seems to represent realizing her competence, resolving her self-doubt. She defers to the direction of the SOUL in the “think about Susie” scenes from the very start. This develops as she acts under the player’s direction. Kris, on the other hand, is increasingly at odds with the player.

The Paradise Board in Chapter 3, where we see Ralsei get a little taste of agency playing as Kris and his subsequent dismay, shows his wish for determination.

I think we will see Susie and Ralsei fight over the SOUL in a future chapter. Ultimately, the girl “finds love”, so she gets it.

Moreover, the girl is the last hero. One interpretation of this is that Kris and Ralsei lose their place as heroes, but not Susie.

So much discourse about Pangi's murder of Pili due to him going to the ball with Zam, and everyone completely forgot that Pangi also murdered KyleEff. Just straight up grabbed his elytra, flew to the library and slashed Kyle right in front of Tubbo.

Bro is just going around killing everyone he thinks should be with him instead. Even if Kyle was going to the ball with Tubbo, the princess of green, and is notoriously the "I am a straight man and would like to be represented as such." guy

Pangi seems to be a highly insecure man who has to constantly reaffirm his power, and one of the ways he does it is by attempting to control all the men he thinks belong to him. This includes stalking Pili2 when he first arrived because Pangi was close to Pili1, this includes the murder of Kyle, and this includes shooting Pili2 because he invited PrinceZam to the ball.

Someone said that Pangi murdering Pili was ok because Pili was Pangi's abuser. And that is an insane take that completely ignores how Pangi initially treated Pili2 when he first arrived. Like Pili2's first days in the realm were marked by a guy he didnt know stalking him and comparing him to a person Pili didnt know about. Of course that's gonna taint Pili's view of Pangi.

Pangi argues that the stalking was all in the past, but that was HIM basically absolving himself of any wrongdoing. Pangi draws a line in the sand saying that his own stalking of Pili was something that should be forgotten and ignored, while Pili's reactions were something to be condemned.

Pangi is in his villainous era. He's being a demon for all the men he thinks are his (except Lukey). He has probably destroyed his friendship with Aimsey due to breaking his promises, and his relationship with Ros was already fragmented due to her and Sneeg's attempt on Lukey's life. Pangi is the main serial killer of the Realm basically since Pili1 died. Except for Lukey, all of his kills since Pili1 died have been on purpose. Pangi is not righteous, even if there is logic behind his actions. And that's OK. A villain is a perfectly acceptable role to play.

And Pangi is doing that all while wearing a cute little dress.

Ok, can someone help me understand tr!ros' character and why she just hates tr!Lukey so much?

Yes, I do think the Null messed her up, and she may or may not have heard tr!Lukey in there- there's a big possibility she could have, but I also understand that from tr!Lukey's perspective, he literally did nothing wrong. Meanwhile, he's always being attacked by yellow members. So, from his perspective it does come off as unfair, especially after yesterday.

Tr!Lukey was literally leaving and from my understanding, someone can correct me if I'm wrong, tr!sneeg showed up on tr!ros' behalf and, even if he didn't mean to kill, he attacked tr!Lukey with a mace that dealt a decent amount of damage. That wasn't like a simple "hello" punch, as yellow is trying so hard to justify. Which, I don't think the attack was the main issue- the main issue, I think, is trying to play it off as being not that serious, almost to the point of gas lighting ngl.

Anyways, I'm just trying to understand why tr!ros isn't even hearing tr!lukey out when he's trying to explain himself repeatedly and ask her what he can do to at least alleviate the hostility between them.

If I mischaracterized anyone, or got anything wrong, feel free to correct me, but I just wanna know what's going on with tr!ros, and yellow faction by extension lmao (⁠≧⁠▽⁠≦⁠)

I wrote a post about this yesterday but the tl;dr is that Ros engages in black and white thinking and cannot see Lukey as anything other than purely wrong and bad. He can explain himself as much as he wants, but she's already put him in the "bad person" box and there is almost nothing he can do to get back out of it again. Anything he does or says that contradict her opinion of him she simply does not see, which is why she is such an unreliable narrator about the things that have happened between them. She actually literally cannot remember those things happened.

I was watching Sneegs stream, and he made some great points for the server and its longevity. Sneeg has been on multiple servers and has seen servers pop up and die out. He says that the main reasons smp's die is because the creator no longer is interested in playing.

Sneeg is right as well when he says it isn't right to force someone to play something they don't want to, and Tubbo is doing his tubbothon, so he's more focused on that and so is the smp admins who a majority are helping with Tubbos streams.

Tubbo also does things that he thinks is fun or cool in that moment and doesn't really think about the aftermath or what is necessarily best for the server overall. He wanted to add a hostile faction, which many of the new players did not want to participate. He wanted to make new players fight for a spot, leaving those who lost to not be able to join with only one opening for the winner. He wants to add bounties that would directly oppose the Keepers wanting the factions to work together in lore. Another reason adding bounties wouldn't work is because with Joe's smp it has infinite lives whereas in The Realm smp those lives are finale and when you lose them all you are reset to the very beginning as a consequence and hate might spread to the players who reset another player.

The realm isn't really doing its best with only a few dedicated people logging on every day, and with its creator wanting to work on another server for create it feels like throwing the old toy out for a new one. The only problem is that there are still people who play with the old one and don't want it to die.

So what can be done so Tubbo is doing what he wants and the server stays alive for the people who want to play? Well, from what I've seen, it would probably be best for Tubbo to pass on either ownership or put someone else in charge of the server temporarily. Tango is already in charge of a lot on the realm and he seems rather passionate about it, other ideas could be some of the dedicated players who have stuck around, such as Bad, Ros, or Sneeg. Understandably, they might not want to or have the time either, but I would still think that they should have a say in the direction of the server. Sneeg and Bad are some of the highest players, and through their leveling, they have discovered what works and doesn't, the suggestion server on discord is mostly one of them saying a new bug they found or some ideas to leveling. Ros has great ideas when it comes to events, and she was recently asked by Tango to make a list of some possibly new members and add more women to the server. She also talked about adding some members from the qsmp and life steal to incentives current players who don't log on like Clown.

This is just from what I've seen, so i might be wring about some things, and others might have better ideas on how to help keep The Realm alive, but this is what I noticed.
