I hate this fucking adaption with all my heart istg. The scene makes no sense. The cars surrounding him are so far from each other and it looks like he still could've escaped somehow without braking. The gun is so blurry/indistinguishable and NO ONE catched it there and it still doesn't fully justify the way they shoot him. Well, newsflash kids... Look at where the gun *actually* was!! In his own fucking hand!! For everyone to see!! And feel reasonably threatened by!! This is so much more readable honestly.
