Dear followers as of now, 4 months after I said this blog will go inactive I have decided to start it up again. My reason behind why I am resuming it is mainly just because I am bored. So hopefully you enjoy.

I posted the first photo on a different website. And not to my surprise someone told me that those verses listed are taken out of context or metaphorical. Then I posted the verse from Deuteronomy and well now I haven't got a response. And I am not being petty and trying to say "I win". But it seems the moment you give evidence that their own Holy Book isn't so Holy religious people have no idea of what to do. Now if they were actually able to prove them false the conversation could go on, but they can't because the verses are in black and white, nothing is out of context just simplified.

My Thoughts: Abortion

I really started thinking about this topic around junior year of high school even though I already knew I was Pro-choice I wasn’t sure exactly where I stood. After a debate about popular topics in Modern History class I figured out where I stand.

I am a supporter of choice for people to do as they please with their bodies. Especially as a guy I have no right to tell a woman what she can and can not do with her body. A lot of people think of Pro-Choice as automatically pro baby killer. No that is completely wrong in my opinion. If you can safely have and support a child by all means I believe you should, but again it isn’t my place to say that you have to keep. 

The main reason that I am this way is not because someone just wants to abort for a plan b(even if that is what they are doing I am not going to interject though), but for the woman who were raped or not healthy enough or the fetus in question is not going to live once delivered. 

One thing I noticed is that most Pro-Lifers believe that all “life” is valuable. If that is true and the mother that you want to force to have the child was raped to create the new “life” then she’ll have to look at her pregnant stomach for 9 months(on average) and be reminded of that day. Now what if that pregnant woman decides to kill herself from being reminded for that long about the day she was raped? Now she is dead and the “baby” so now you have two lives gone instead of just a clump of cells. 

So wouldn’t you rather have the woman give birth to a child she wants than a child that may have been conceived from such a horrible act? I sure would. 

Now I would go into the whole it was “God’s Plan”, but that in itself is a whole other post.

I served in Iraq from 2004 to 2005. During that time, we started to realize there were no weapons of mass destruction, the 9/11 commission report determined that Iraq was not involved in the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center, false sovereignty was given to Iraq by Paul Bremer, the atrocities at Abu Ghraib were exposed, and the Battle of Fallujah was waged.

The destruction I took part in suddenly intersected with news that our reasons for waging war were untrue. The despicable conduct of those at Abu Ghraib was made more unforgivable by the honorable interactions I had with Iraqi civilians, and, together, it fueled the post-traumatic stress I struggle with today.

Contradiction: "God's Plan Vs Free Will"

The idea of the same deity giving people free will, but also having a plan for them makes no sense whatsoever. So what your trying to tell me is that someone getting raped is apart of gods plan, but the person who did it used free will? No because if your so called "God" has a plan for everyone that means he did not give humans free will so by default he planned for that person to get raped, because it was apart of the plan he set out for the rapist. Which means your god allows rape to happen.

If Earth had Saturn’s Rings

From Washington, D.C., the rings would only fill a portion of the sky, but appear striking nonetheless. Here, we see them at sunrise.

From Guatemala, only 14 degrees above the equator, the rings would begin to stretch across the horizon. Their reflected light would make the moon much brighter.

From Earth’s equator, Saturn’s rings would be viewed edge-on, appearing as a thin, bright line bisecting the sky.

At the March and September equinoxes, the Sun would be positioned directly over the rings, casting a dramatic shadow at the equator.

At midnight at the Tropic of Capricorn, which sits at 23 degrees south latitude, the Earth casts a shadow over the middle of the rings, while the outer portions remain lit.
