Faith put into practice: The bible of a German soldier in World War One, with a piece of a grenade tucked in it. Gieler, as the soldier was called, always carried the bible with him and put it next to his head while sleeping in the trenches.  As a shell hit and exploded in his shelter, most of the soldiers were wounded or killed. However, the Bible under his head took the hit from the grenade, saving Gielers life.

The Jesus doll: The odd but masterly crafted life-size Christ sculpture with movable arms created by Juan De Mesa in 1622-23. Jesus is unclothed so the worshippers could dress him up for rituals in a sort of large-scale dress up game.
