Somewhere on the edge of a distant galaxy lies the Uma system, a system of two suns that defies known laws. Uma is surprisingly abundant in exoplanets (planets where life thrives). The Hexopodus Planet, also known as Green Planet, is covered with extraordinary oceans of jelly-thick water, where insect-like creatures roam. Lush greenery grows on the islands. There are also cities of a highly advanced UFO civilization. The species that developed this technology is the Hectopod. Hectopods resemble octopuses and can float delicately in the planet's dense air for extended periods. The capital of the Hectopods is Hexaris. This extraordinary city has a rather dark appearance. It has numerous towers connected by high-speed maglev train tracks and octopus-like structures, the tallest towers, that illuminate the entire city. The facility rests partially on the water, while all the Hectopod life revolves above.
