Carmelo helping Tobias out on that field trip despite not even liking the guy because he’s traumatized by how horribly he fucked up with Rudy is sooooo good. School bully —> Being constantly afraid his actions will result in someone dying bc he almost bullied someone into suicide is a really good character arc for a bully. And Tobias learning to appreciate other people being there for him despite the fact that he also doesn’t like Carmelo is great too.

Tobias and Carmelo are my favorite duo, I think their clashing personalities result in a lot of interesting and entertaining interactions lol. It was also really cool to see how both of them grew from their relationships with Rudy and how that affected how they treated each other too.
