Hear me out: spider man au where everyone forgets James including lily and Sirius. Then he goes off to school and tries making new friends who end up being regulus and Remus. James feels guilty about befriending regulus but when Remus starts dating Sirius it causes problems all around. Regulus not wanting to associate with his brother. Remus not wanting to lose Sirius or regulus. James wanting his best friend back but not wanting to lose regulus either.
