Hello, My name's Lawrence, or Lawry, he/she. I'm under a medical wardship in Lirian Vey, 5th Bloom's care. Xyr account will be under @rhodonitespiirals as xe'll help me get used to the overnet and the compact. I'm in my 20's, I'm a bigender individual who is also an aroace lesbian.

My reasons for my medical wardship is due to multiple chronic illnesses and health issues throughout my life never being taken care of. Some of them border on medical and neglect and malpractice, making me in the position I am now.

I... am unsure if by the end of it I'll be a floret or not, but I am trying all that I can to defy it. I'm still incredibly untrusting of any Affini, I don't even trust my wardship at all, but no medical care is worse than medical care under the vine of a very doting individual.

Sorry I havent spoken at all today, they took me to some "vet" (dunno why I cant call them a doctor they basically are one 🙄) to get a bunch of scans, assessments, tests, all that stuff. They found a lot and are waiting on even more results but it ain't lookin too hot for me. And by that I mean I do Not think I'm getting out of this Wardship At All and I fucking hate that.

I was just hoping they would help me for a few months and give me the resources to keep doing those things on my own. I don't need a damn owner, I just wanted medical care and accomodations. I don't need to be a floret, how do I get out of this?

Why must I, a disabled person, be treated like a pet? an animal of sorts? This feels dehumanizing being recommended for domestication. I'm a person. I'm not supposed to be a floret. I don't care if "they'll take care of me" I can take care of my own damn self. Just give me the resources necessary and I'll be on my way.

I'm just... I'm angry. I'm so pissed. I knew I shouldn't have trusted Lirian. I shouldn't be calling them "Miss" as a sign of respect, they lied to me! I can't respect someone who lies!! My mom raised me to know better.

Now I'm starting to understand how feralists feel actually.

Hehehe thank you! And a biorhythm is kinda self explanatory, it's a rhythm that's made by anything biological. An affini's is special though, it's extremely strong so they can make people feel cuddly just by being near them. Oh, and apparently it's also extra extra strong to humans.

Why do you call the Affini who kidnapped you "Miss" ? You don't wanna be a floret but you already are acting like one by being kind to them

They uh. They didn't kidnap me, actually. They came to me in a wellness check and spoke to me about the whole uh. Wardship thing. As far as I'm aware it'll take maybe about a month or 2? to complete? and then there'll be some kinda trial to determine if i need extra care or if I have a right to my independance. I... willingly asked them to help me.

I'm hesitant and still untrusting yeah but why wouldn't I atleast be somewhat courteous to them? I'm not extremely "feralist" or whatever they call it, I'm not some fascist Terran Cosmic Navy or OCNI veteran/worker yknow. I was literally a regular "guy" swept up into all of this. I may not feel like I need the help and I'm stubborn as all shit but I know when I need to uhh. give up I guess.

If someone is gonna handle my life for me even for a little while I might as well let them. I do feel like my case is burdensome but yknow, they don't mind. Growing up my mom always told me to "use my resources" when given to me. I wonder if she's safe...

I don't think I ever wouldve gotten accepted by them anyways for those same reasons but yknow what, fair. I heard alot of yall got florted or whatever anyways from Miss Vey. Like its a pipeline of sorts maybe. The Affini have always been inevitable as they say yknow?

I mightve heard about her on tanglr somewhere. She seems nice. Also you're alright, I assume being a floret means youre very close with your owner. And they give you a lot of help with like their xenodrugs and implants and stuff or whatever right? Cuz theyre medically advanced. Ive not tried xenodrugs, they just got me on my regular meds and stuff again before I was found by them. Are they nice? I often have bad reactions towards stuff like weed already so I dunno what more potent cognitive altering drugs would feel like. Even their one anxiety drug might make you a lil silly brained. Class E I think?

Yeah, I um.. she..she’s r really nice. uh. They.. well, I don’t have my implant yet, but yes.. she does help me. A lot. I have puppy ears and a tail now.. that work. Because they can just do that. It’s friggin’ crazy. Uh.. the xenodrugs are nice.. there’s a ton of them but they don’t really have side effects the way Terran drugs do, or so I’ve heard. I don’t do drugs, but I do drink a lot. I guess the comparison would be alcohol but with no hangover after, if that helps.

I mean, there’s so many different ones that I couldn’t really describe them all, but yeah, class E’s are nice. They kinda just help you relax and stuff, which is handy. It doesn’t really fuck with my head and…. Give me a “silly brain”, though, but I’m sure it affects different people in different ways.

One thing I miss about being in a wardship is a lot of the music I liked has been somewhat restricted. Not for any nefarious or negative reasons, I assume Miss Vey found out some of the bands I liked were associated with bad times and they made me emotionally react poorly. Hopefully when I'm more stable I can listen to them again. I miss alot of my favorite oldies music. I mean... to be fair when a genre is called "depressive suicidal black metal" I bet that raises a lot of conern.

Miss Vey gave me some kinda wrist cuffs to wear that reads my vital signs. Kinda like one of those "smart watches" early 2020's Terran tech had. Except it's for free. They even modified one of the cuffs for my right wrist to show my signs, which is cool. I never had something like this before since after it's creation it quickly became a luxury item instead of a health item back on Terra. Dunno what they're trying to find though haha

pulls collar. uh. update. my heart rate skyrockets when I stand up apparently. Not great! Being checked over by a "Vet" soon, maybe for once in my life i'll start getting some answers. I already have some things diagnosed before now but they arent properly managed so maybe they'll be able to give me some meds or whatever to fix it

Note to self, I need to absolutley train my dearest to not eat foods that trigger his IBS. I might need to learn some recipes or compile some foods that are safe for his little tummy until we get his medications sorted :( I'll have to put restrictions on his personal compiler too or to modify what ingredients can be substituted with something that's safe for him! He's such a stubborn soul 😔
