little imagined benskips moments ((occasional skipmo))

this song makes me think of benson in the passenger seat of skips’s van, falling super hard for skips because he’s been so charming all night, and he offered to give benson a ride home. benson keeps trying to glance over at skips without him noticing. skips notices. he says, “hey, benson, can we take a little detour? I wanna show you something” 

benson nods, and skips drives them out of the city, to a big open field where they can see the stars.

sometimes benson absentmindedly touches the spot on his neck where skips kissed him (well, he isn’t SURE he kissed him, skips was giving him a friendly hug, and his lips brushed past the spot as he pulled away... it could have been an accident, but...) 

he never realizes he’s doing it until skips walks into the room. every single time, benson prays skips hasn’t noticed. 

but skips has noticed. it was a split-second decision to kiss benson that one time, and he didn’t do it as decisively as he would have liked, but he did it. since then, he’s been waiting for benson to bring it up... because benson’s obviously been thinking about it.

skips enjoys gently placing his coat over benson’s body when he finds him asleep on the couch

on the left: techmo talking to skips  on the right: techmo talking to other people what if techmo puts on his badass persona for everyone else, but only skips gets to see him acting kind, sincere, and patient

sometimes drunk benson whispers, “I know you like me, skips” into skips’s ear, and then scurries away

skips has learned that the fastest way to calm down angry benson is to pick him up

“But isn’t he already in a long-term, monogamous relationship?”

skips and techmo are the exact same height, which is what drew them to each other at first

skips is totally a virgin while benson has lots of experience alternatively, skips has only ever done things with techmo, and techmo always takes the lead, so skips is still rather inexperienced

one time, a stray cat wandered by the house during the morning meeting. benson picked it up and started baby-talking to it, and skips choked on his coffee because he had never seen benson behave so cutely before

benson’s hands: small, cute, always clean and very soft  skips’s hands: big, strong, often grease-stained from working in his garage. rough and calloused
