Mistynat Week, Day 1 - Early 2000's AUs

Sunday, July 20th — Mistynat Week Schedule

Our very first prompt of Mistynat Week takes us to the earliest decade of the 21st century! “In another life” works can include post-rescue/canon-divergent scenarios following Misty and Nat in their young adult years, but it can also explore completely different universes set inside the early 2000's.

If you’re not sure what to create, here’s a few “early 2000’s AUs” to get you started!

College AUs

No-crash AUs — following Misty and Nat in their young adult years/early 20’s. Possibly meeting for the first time later in life or running into each other as old classmates!

Crossovers — perhaps taking our older actor’s early 2000’s films and adding your own Mistynat spin! Or maybe inserting Misty and Nat into your classic early 2000’s films.

Post-rescue early 2000’s — canon divergent scenarios of Misty and Nat in the early years after rescue! Exploring parallel outcomes for our chaotic couple in the electric decade of the 2000’s.

As always, don’t be afraid to get creative with your works! You can interpret prompts however you’d like, so don’t worry too much about staying “close enough” to daily prompts.

Remember to prepare your Mistynat Week day 1 works in advance so that they’re ready to be posted on Sunday, July 20th! And if you have any questions at all about our first prompt of the week, please let us know. We cannot wait to see what you create for the first day of Mistynat Week!!! ♡

mistynat first kiss bc Nat accidentally learns about the whole Misty kissed Ben after he died thing and that Misty considers that her first kiss (i’m sorry we ALL know she considers that her first kiss) and Nat’s like “that’s insane???”. Misty is trying to explain her logic and eventually Nat just goes “if i kiss you will you stop telling people our dead coach was your first kiss????”

Hi everyone! It's been a few weeks since Yellowjackets season 3 ended and we were left with even more mistynat content - we finally reached that moment of their relationship we were all excited about! So much to discuss and think about! To celebrate this epic ending, we have decided to bring back the much loved event that happened back in 2023, but with a new crew and also a rebrand!

“Mistynat Season” was created to encourage and engage in multiple mistynat events during the year and it will begin by bringing back Mistynat week. Our purpose is to unite the shippers and explore our creativity and inspiration by doing mistynat-centered artworks and whatever pieces of fanwork you can think of during the seven days of a whole week, following the prompts proposed and voted by majority!

We’ll be posting more details regarding our first event of Mistynat Season - along with relevant dates very soon, so stay tuned!
