my shadowhunters obsession has just recently come back in full swing after rereading TID in 2024 and i read them so long ago (like 8 years ago now 😭) that rereading them currently is fulfilling my life in ways u couldn’t even imagine.

rereading TDA now and the last time i was this deep into my obsession was 8 YEARS AGO so the fact that beginning of The Wicked Powers comes out NEXT YEAR is absolutely mind boggling to me like i’m SO excited. i could not have started rereading at a better time. i remember being like 14 learning that TWP was projected to come out in 2025 and being so pleased to know i would have new shadowhunters content so far into the future that it was basically forever to me lmaoo

suddenly im 14 again reading shadowhunters and thinking about them all of the time, at the edge of my seat waiting eagerly for the next book to come out next year. it’s truly full circle to me especially rereading them with the same best friend i read them with in middle/high school.

we just got a shadowhunters tattoo together in november it’s that mf serious!!!!!!!

ANYWAYS i’m just feeling so gifted by this universe thank u cassie!!!!!

rereading The Dark Artifices is making me yearn soooo deeply for a well executed TV adaptation. i know i would never trust it to be done right but there are sooooo many things that i’ve thought would EAT on tv. i’m making a list because i literally cannot contain myself

-Emma on top of Julian in the back of the car after he gets shot in LM. The sexual tension…. Julian weakly assuring Emma she can fix him… the rush of memories Emma gets of her and Julian when they were younger as she tries the rune the final time. OHHHHHHH my fuck that would kill me

- When the centurions show up in Lord of Shadows and Zara comes bustling towards Diego, hugging him, and introducing herself to Cristina and Mark as Diego’s FIANCÉE!!!!! Imagine THAT at the end of an episode??!!!!!!!

- Kieran walking in on Mark & Cristina dancing in the ballroom and criticizing Mark’s dancing, taking Cristina over to dance with him instead. Then the way he says “There. That is how the blood of faerieland can dance.” afterwards and just stalks off???!!!!!!!! are you kidding????????? Ohhh i just know socials would go crazy over that i just know it

- Emma and Julian arguing in the cottage 😭😭😭 When I reread that scene i immediately was imagining watching it on TV. How it would EAT ME ALIVE!!!!! THE AGONY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’ve never seen Bridgerton but it reminds me of that clip from it that went viral on tiktok a long time ago of Jonathan Bailey saying “it is not far enough!!” like idk something about the dialogue Cassie wrote between Blackstairs in that scene I feel like people would EAT that shit UP on tiktok the same way they did that bridgerton scene like the way Julian is like “i wish it wasn’t you Emma but it is and it’ll always be you” like FUCKIKK i just need it byaddddddd
