fugrim x reader & corvus corax x reader

fulgrim x reader 。

Fulgrim is a very doting partner who is hyper aware of you, your needs, and anything that has to do with you reaching your full potential. It can be suffocating at times, which is why it’s extra important to set boundaries with him.

He’s almost always touching you and has a habit of fixing your hair, your clothes, and your makeup ( when and if you wear it. ). If you’re self-conscious, he’s more subtle about it. He’ll brush a strand of your hair back into place while distracting you with a kiss, or whisper flirtatious words in your ear when he smooths away the crinkle on your shirt. 

He is, however, not a subtle primarch by nature. He has his moments, but Fulgrim prefers grandiose displays of affection.

He’ll flaunt you around and talk endlessly about his love for you. If he’s possessive, he’ll leave an all too perfect smear of lipstick on your cheek, your neck, or wherever he feels like kissing you. Sure, it might ‘ ruin the look ’ he so carefully crafted for you, but his message is clear and he’ll never stop loving the sight of his mark on you. When questioned about it, he’ll say it’s a form of ‘ artistic expression ’.

Sometimes he will let his serfs dress and undress you, but he prefers to do it himself. This can lead to long mornings spent on just getting ready. He likes to take his time so you both look your best. 

He loves to see you wear something he’s made ( which, aside from painting portraits of you, is one of his favorite hobbies ). From the finest jewels mined and crafted by his hand, to the garments he designed and sewed; he can’t get enough of seeing you in his finery.

Where it comes to his hobbies, Fulgrim enjoys the clean up process as much as the act of creation itself. There is something methodical and soothing about returning his work space back to its pristine self. Bonus points if you help him and know where all of his art supplies go. 

He encourages you to express yourself through art and is a surprisingly patient teacher. He is critical of your work, as one cannot grow in ignorance, but his words are gentler toward you. He’ll mold himself to be the perfect teacher, to become the best version of himself that you need to grow as an artist.

Fulgrim doesn’t let his guard down often. You are one of the few living souls who’ve seen his perfect mask slip. He isn’t afraid to be tired around you, or to air out his grievances from the day. He doesn’t do it often, as you are most precious to him and he is determined to bear the weight of both of your troubles, but he does allow himself to indulge every now and again. 

corvus x reader 。

Corvus is a melancholy partner and he is susceptible to wallowing in his own misery. He does not feel deserving of you, and has told you as much. Yet you stay by his side. He does not need positive words or long winded speeches to pull him out of his emotional spiral. Your presence alone is enough for him.

If you brush his hair, he will absolutely melt and fall asleep.

Corvus is an introvert by nature and enjoys his solitude. His solitude includes you. 

Sometimes you'll wake up in a blanket of darkness. Corvus doesn't mean to do it, he will occasionally slip into shadows even when he sleeps. He'll be sure to comfort you afterwards with cuddles and forehead boops.

Don't be surprised if you find gift trinkets under your pillow.

He doesn’t enjoy poetry or music. They remind him of his childhood, of the work-songs sang by the prisons of his home world, but should you write something for Corvus he will enjoy it. Just be prepared to explain your poem in excruciating detail. He wants to know the ins and outs of your work and its meaning.

He highly values your opinions and treats you as he would an equal. 

Your relationship with his sons is very important to him. 

He has a bad habit of getting wrapped up in watching you from the shadows. He doesn’t always announce himself and can get sucked into whatever activity you’re doing. He feels safest observing, which can make him feel like a very distant partner. He’ll try harder to be more present if you ask him.

I think what kills me about Warhammer not having a female equivalent of Space Marines is that their justification is so buns.

They're like "oh, the female body couldn't handle it," but the afab body is quite literally built to endure substantially more than the amab body. Like, in every way other than raw physical strength, which can also be alleviated especially in the Grim Dark Future, women would be the ones surviving the process.

Idk. I'm not even saying specifically female space marines, but definitely an equivalent would have made sense. Genetically modified women who can spit acid and are ripped and eat brains to get memories etc.

Bc you're telling me they just don't utilize the entirety of humanity? They just let 50% meander with no extra shit? And that's why the books grind my gears sometimes (off-topic).

Why is every side character male? Especially in Mechanicus books??? Female tech priests sound so cool. Make them disgusting to look at. No more attractive female characters in Warhammer.
