I think what kills me about Warhammer not having a female equivalent of Space Marines is that their justification is so buns.

They're like "oh, the female body couldn't handle it," but the afab body is quite literally built to endure substantially more than the amab body. Like, in every way other than raw physical strength, which can also be alleviated especially in the Grim Dark Future, women would be the ones surviving the process.

Idk. I'm not even saying specifically female space marines, but definitely an equivalent would have made sense. Genetically modified women who can spit acid and are ripped and eat brains to get memories etc.

Bc you're telling me they just don't utilize the entirety of humanity? They just let 50% meander with no extra shit? And that's why the books grind my gears sometimes (off-topic).

Why is every side character male? Especially in Mechanicus books??? Female tech priests sound so cool. Make them disgusting to look at. No more attractive female characters in Warhammer.

Totally down for this. I think they'd be sick as hell. If done well, they'd be just as volatile as their male counterparts. Some of the parts I dislike about both Sisters factions is that their armor isn't as chunky as Marines, and I feel like thats a missed opportunity.

I think with the right writing, you could have a set of stories where the drama in Chapters are just as political, but I think so many fans of Warhammer (off this site) are just allergic to women, too. I suppose that's just par for the course in fandom sometimes.

I've been seeing a lot of aphobia this Pride month, so I just wanted to say that if you call yourself LGBTQ in any sort of way and you think ace people, aro people, or even bi people (bc yall have beef with them too apparantly) don't belong in Pride, I will be assuming you're ignorant and a poser.

Go ahead and read about what queerness is actually about. Go ahead and read about what our elders were fighting for and against. Having same-sex attraction does not make you queer. It makes you a homosexual. Queerness is the intentional subversion of the norms and boxes placed upon us. It is the challenging of gender, of sexuality, and of culture. It is standing in solidarity with marginalized groups that might not walk, talk, and act like you.

Guess what bi people, ace people, and aro people can do?

As an aromantic asexual agender person, I am the total denial of every expectation placed upon me. I am disregarding every milestone a person of my culture should reach. That is Queerness.

Queerness is ultimate authenticity in the face of systemic repression of self.

If you are an exclusionist and you think that your same-sex attraction is enough, you're wrong. You need to stand with people who are fighting the good fight, living as themselves, and also queer. This divisiveness is useless, and all you're doing is making us weaker for the enemy to pick us apart.
