Just a reminder in case your mind is playing tricks on you today:
You matter. You’re important. You’re loved. And your presence on this earth makes a difference whether you see it or not.
If you’ve been posting in favor of BLM for the past couple of weeks, but intend to play Pokemon Unite despite knowing that it is being designed and published by Tencent, you are the definition of a hypocrite.
Tencent built the Sesame Credit app that is preparing to become mandatory across mainland China. To briefly define what it is, it’s a program that influences your real-world financial credit score based on your social media interactions. Like and share acceptable propaganda, your credit score will increase. Like or share something the government doesn’t like, your credit score decreases. If you’re even so much as friends with someone who likes or shares something the government dislikes, it affects your score too. Thereby limiting who people are willing to associate with, and what they’re willing to learn.
It also affects citizens based on individual purchases. If you buy something like video games, or non-approved books, or anything that’s not a “necessity”, this can lower your credit score as well, since the app is targeted to flag you as a “non-ideal citizen”. (Kind of ironic then that they program video games too, with micro-transactions, but I guess a lot of companies will have double standards for profit these days).
Tencent is also the company that encouraged Blizzard to suppress players from speaking out about freeing Hong Kong. A revolution that is still ongoing, where Hong Kong citizens are fighting to secure their democratic freedom, and where protesters are being tortured or even executed.
While this is going on, also keep in mind that there are other protests going on, because the mainland government in northwest China is rounding up and keeping approximately 1.8 Uyghur Muslims in re-education (concentration) camps, so that they may gain access to more energy resources and trading routes.
Tencent is one of the main companies behind keeping atrocities like this silenced.
PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT POKEMON UNITE. PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT TENCENT.
We’re all having “hard conversations” about racism, police brutality, and #BlackLivesMatter I hope.
You’ve probably noticed that detractors often use the same “racist talking points” in response. Here’s a researched and sourced guide to help you answer, for the times you may get stuck.
Feel free to save these images and share them!

If y’all really want to go there, we can. Let’s talk about Black women and stereotypes. Angry Black women? Dark skin. Hoodrats? Dark skin. Babymamas (although no one wants to have kids with us) Dark skin. Welfare and crackheads? Dark skin. Crazy exes? Dark skin. Unsuccessful? Dark skin.
Wives? Light skin. High school crushes? Light skin. Love interests in almost every movie made after 2002? Light skin. Signs a Black man is winning in life? His girl/wife is White or LIGHTSKIN. The only kind of Black woman acceptable to be seen with as a rich Black man? Light skin.
If y’all want to fucking go here, we can. Everything from classic movies to current rap hits tell the Black boys that a lightskinned woman is worth loving. Every chance a rapper gets, he let’s it be known that lightskinned women are the prize.
Are White people racist? Absolutely but guess what, they still going to pick you over me ANY DAY. So all those internships, jobs, promotions and credits you had to fight for, believe me, there was a dark skin girl fighting harder. Dark skin women been fighting so long, y’all forgot that Claudette the original DARK SKIN woman who refused her seat on an Alabama bus had to watch YOUR GRANDPARENTS AND UNCLES recreate it with a light skinned Black woman so it would be received. Y’all better miss me with the bullshit.
15,000 notes?? WOW! I still stand by all this too.
Claudette was a unwed, pregnant teenager.
Claudette got pregnant AFTER the incident. Y’all love bringing that up to defend colorism in the 50s. Yes, your grandparents were colorist, classist and elitists.
Claudette WaS a UnWeD pReGnAnT tEeNaGeR
Again she became pregnant after the incident.
They denied her because she was dark skinned and poor.
Fuck with me.
She was still a teenager. My issue was never the colorism, but the fact she was a teenager and you called her a woman. That’s why teenager is in red. That’s the issue.
And since we adding photos…
And her being pregnant was also a factor. Things can exist simultaneously.
“Before long” which means it happened AFTERWARDS and occured AFTER her conversation with NAACP and they denied her. The pregnancy was after the fact and was just used to cover up the fact that they didn’t want to use a poor DARK SKINNED girl as a possible catalyst.
It wasn’t used as a coverup, especially since, as you posted that Colvin KNEW they were using Parks because of her skin tone, her hair color and her age. That was just one more reason they struck her down.
Then why the fuck are you arguing with me? BLOCKED for being a dumb ass.
I Married a Cop & I'm Afraid
No, before you get the wrong idea. I am not afraid of my husband. I am afraid of you.
You, who threaten all cops because of a few bad cops.
You, who threaten all cops families so “those useless pigs can know your pain.”
When my husband leaves in the morning I know there is a chance he won’t come home because he would give his life to protect the innocent. But now I have to worry he won’t come home because you let your hatred blind your judgement. To bring justice to Michael Brown. Eric Garner, and all of the other victims of police brutality, you are threatening innocent men and women who took an oath to protect your life with their own.
I know you are hurting, and I know there has been great injustice for the two men and their families. I know there are corrupt cops, but the reality is, most police officers are not the problem. It is a select few who are ruining the image of all.
Please, I am one woman asking you to stop threatening my family and my husband because of the actions of others. I want my son to grow up without the fear I have. I want him to be able to tell his friends his father is a police officer without having to be afraid of backlash.
I married a cop & I do not want to be afraid.
*sigh*
i married a black man and i’m afraid.. now don’t get me wrong, i’m not afraid of my husband. i’m afraid of cops because my husband is black.
cops, who because of institutionalized racism perpetuating the narrative of the inherent criminality of black skin
cops, who without knowing my husband judge him because he is a large, black man, who is perceived as a threat because he was born to look he way he does.
when my husband goes to work the swing shift, i know there is a chance that on his way home around 11 pm, he won’t come home because he could be shot during a “routine stop” or even if he calls the cops to his place of employment, because of the perception of black men in america.
his blackness is not a crime. his blackness, our blackness is beautiful. but you don’t see that.
you’re damn right we are hurting. we are hurting because Michael Brown was an unarmed black boy killed for being perceived as a threat. Eric Garner was choked to death ON camera. neither of their killers will face criminal prosecution. that there is a “blue wall of silence” that keeps so-called “good cops” from doing the right thing and confronting corruption and institutionalized racism.
i get to live with the painful knowledge that any sons AND daughters we are blessed with, will walk through life with that hanging over them. that those are painful lessons we will have to teach them, so we don’t have to go identify the bodies of our beautiful wanted loved children.
i am one woman, standing in representation of my fellow sisters, my mother, my aunts, my cousins, my friends and in solidarity women i do not even know, but share this fear or have seen this fear realized to say
disabuse yourself of these notions that WE are a threat to you
understand that your husband chose to be a cop. we did not choose to be black. we love our blackness, but we hate how it is perceived. it is literally proving fatal for us.
i married a black man, and i don’t want to see him dead.
i will bear black sons and daughters, and i don’t want to see them dead.
i am a black woman and i don’t want to die.
she had to deactivate cause i’m sure people told her how stupid she sounded. telling me you’re afraid for the life of your cop husband because a group hates him is the same as telling me you’re afraid for the life of your husband the kkk grand dragon because groups hate him.
this is a good time to bring this back
I love when they deactivate.

Stu, let me ask you a question: how did you not realize until then that you had too many eggs? Nobody sells eggs in a big cloth-covered basket, so you must have done that yourself. That means you spent god-knows-how-long opening up twelve whole cartons of eggs, carefully placing each egg one-by-one inside a big basket, and then covering it with a big picnic cloth… and at no point- at no point- did you ever stop and think “gee, there might be TOO MANY FUCKING EGGS HERE”
You really have lost control of your life.
I may have gone overboard with this

as i’m bombarded by kanye and jay-z and tyler perry in the press a bunch of grifters and corporate branding zombies i realize Malcolm X was right when he said black celebrities shouldn’t be taken seriously as political leaders
bring him, and i can’t stress this enough, back
once again while the black misleadership class trots out these tap dancing rappers and singers and other clowns to temper the masses
these are the first self portraits i’ve taken in years. I definitely forgot how exhausting the process is lol but these are soft & warm so i love how they came out 🥰
