This blog is mainly for a rewrite/AU idea I had for the anime franchise Bubblegum Crisis (blending both 2032 and 2040... Somehow), though It's become more of a cyberpunk aesthetic blog. Though I may never get around to actually writing it, I hope to at least share some artwork and ideas for it. Tag List:

On one hand, we’re about 13 years too early for the setting of the original Bubblegum Crisis anime series (set in 2032/2033), and two decades too soon for the remake (set in 2040).

On the other hand, a lot of BGC’s aesthetic and lore were inspired by Blade Runner (one of the main characters is called Priss, and her rock band is called “The Replicants”), and we are in November 2019 now.

But I digress!

The robotic antagonists of BGC were called “Boomers”, a fact which lends itself to possibilities for contemporary humor.
