The room felt like it was spinning around her; she couldn’t set her eyes on something and make it stop, so she figured it would be better if she closed them. Wrong. Contrary to popular belief, the girl wasn’t hollow and she had a breaking point and, although she hadn’t reached it yet, she knew it wasn’t as far as she’d liked it to be. However, Lucy had only ever let her sister, and perhaps a few of her cousins, see her in said state, and she wasn’t about to change that; that’s why when she felt something crack inside her, the Weasley broke into an empty classroom to try and calm herself down. Classes had only started and the stress was already building up and she knew exactly how to fight it, for she had done it many times before. Opening her eyes again and drawing her wand out, Lucy gave her back to the door, without noticing it had stayed open, and pointed her weapon at the opposite wall, focusing on one spot as she searched through her mental list of spells to choose which one to cast. She hadn’t made her mind up yet when she heard something crack behind her and, without hesitation, spun around on her heels. Now pointing her wand at the person in front of her, she exhaled heavily and pursed her lips together, awaiting for the other to explain their presence.

&&. Binks, her books in hand, was planning on ATTEMPTING to focus long enough to study for an impending exam. She w a s n’ t planning on having an angry Lucy Weasley direct a wand in her direction. Her face remained set, her brows didn’t faltered and her lips didn’t quirk. In fact, the blonde’s expression read unamused. Unimpressed. PHLEGMATIC. “If you were planning on using that, I’d better be unconscious by the first strike.” Subtle, but sharp; a t h r e a t nonetheless.
