Living with BPD is like driving a car that occasionally speeds up on its own. When you try to slow down by hitting the brakes, they don’t work unless in the perfect pin point spot and as soon as you get it, the steering stops working and when then you can’t do anything to save yourself or those around you. And then you crash. And you look up to see the chaos you caused this time. But you didn’t mean to you couldn’t control anything. But no one knows you were only able to watch as something else inside you burned the world down in front of you. And there was nothing you could do but watch.
