Midterms period has started today for Rawan. Over the next two weeks, she will imperatively have to go to the café more regularly to use their wifi and electricity, as it’s her only way of completing her assignments. She has to pay $50 a day to stay there, but she has no other option.

She really wants to get her degree as soon as possible. She’s already having to redo her third year because she had to flee the north last year and had no access to the internet until she went back. This has been hard for her, as she’s always been academically driven and this has set her back in her plans to look for jobs.
