GOLD’S 3D™, a comprehensive #3D dimensional #bodyscan and #imaging analysis “How it works” The scanning process takes just 35 seconds. After meeting with a Gold’s Gym expert at a participating location, you stand still on a rotating platform, wearing form-fitting compression clothing (hair pulled back, no socks or shoes, no jewelry or watches). The scan takes 600 infrared images of your waist, hips, biceps and more. GOLD’S 3D™ body scanning technology produces results and measurements in real time. Every scan includes a three-dimensional model and more than 25 pages of information, including #bodyshape analysis, #bodyfat analysis (that also cites national averages for comparison) and #fatloss calculator. Plus, the program will combine and compare previous scans in a way that will allow you, over time, to see your body literally changing before your eyes. • info above is from Gold’s website• Now I know many of you are gonna think or say to yourself “well you don’t need that to tell you if you lost inches or weight or to tell if you gained or lost size or it’s not accurate” No, of course one needs to do that to know but not everyone knows how to calculate their caloric intake to lose or gain muscle/fat and it could be a useful tool if you want it to be and it was free to do and who doesn’t like FREE😋. Anyways I decided to give this a try to see how far I have come since I started trimming down 8 weeks ago for a goal I set for myself to get into the best shape I could for my 51st birthday and my vacation cruise 🚢 to the Bahamas. Now that I am done meeting those goals, my next goal is to slowly add back the muscle size I lost during the time I was out due to surgeries. My point is to use the tool as starting point to track my progress without gaining too much fat in the process and am giving myself another 8-10 weeks starting in August, until then am just cruising the #leanteam #fitnessjourney #shreddedfemales
