— understands himself waaaay better than others. like, he can be self aware as much as he wants but will constantly misinterpret other’s actions and intentions. that’s why he attaches to and/or mistreats WRONG people. in the end, the regret is enormous
— HATES disputes so much not because he can’t articulate his opinions but bc he knows that almost nobody is there to find the truth. thinks people want either to win, confirm their own biases or yell at each other most of the times ugh
— rarely watches tv and prefers reading books even over engaging with illustrated ones. just likes to be in his own head when there’s nothing disturbing him
— doesn’t know how to receive gifts properly or how to react so the person knows you are happy you have them in your life . ending up just standing there smiling idiotically
— wants to be noticed but usually doesn’t get too loud about it. simply sits alone grumbling and muttering to himself but give it another 20 minutes and he’ll be fine
— got lots of candy wrappers in all of his pockets… has a sweetest tooth ever
— likes to stay polite despite being irritated with someone. knows things that are done in anger can’t be undone and also why spoil your own mood? people tend to change their mind very easily anyway
— can’t ride a bike and will probably never learn how to 😭😭😭😭 even the first steps are too stressful leave alone riding it down th narrow streets with people walking EVERYWHERE
— this is not exactly dyslexia although he sometimes unintentionally swaps syllables of someone’s surname for example CAMBROUNE instead of CAMBOURNE. for some reason
— actually tries to be more reserved with people but usually opening up too early and thinks about what he said a little too much
— there’s not ONE veggie that he hates. they are good for your stomach too. every parent would love him for that
— never preferred a noisy n annoying crowd of kids (usually around his age) over adults company… they always talk about something important like news and money and future… hopes one day he will be just like them
— read his first book at 4 years old. it was about… planes, yeah
— walks really, REALLY fast. freaking out every time someones walking comically slow ahead of him while blocking all the free space. even if it’s a simple stroll he can’t force himself to calm down and walk normally lol
— genetically has a very poor gum condition. they bleed almost every time he brushes his teeth/eats something harder than a softest apple.
— what he feels on the inside is more important than what he goes through with his body. that’s why you will almost definitely find him wearing all black clothes in the heat of the sun bc of how they look and not how it actually feels. it’s more of a significance to be perceived the certain way to him than dressing according to the actual weather
— adult!jack is a smoker but absolutely not the aesthetically pleasing one. not what they show you in movies oh no no no. hands shaking and shit. exhaling abruptly and rushing to end a cig bc he is embarrassed of how he looks during.
— was supposed to grow even taller but didn’t sleep enough starting from his teens. stayed just a little above average in height as a result
— bites his lower lip SO HARD it always has small wounds all over it. thinks it looks cool until it’s time to eat something even a tiny bit spicy… ouch
— constantly checking on how he looks from the outside…. exhausting himself for no reason with that one
— befriends almost any type of person to know what the world is like from their very individual perspective. doesn’t have that “this particular person is annoying and that’s it. I’m not going to communicate with them just because” mindset. no. there’s always an opportunity to expand your perspective and learn something new and have genuine fun
— laying on the grass for hours brings him the purest joy of life
— actually likes classical music and can play piano. also thinks anyone who can play violin is so cool…
— any cat, no matter stray or domestic, big or small, likes him. he just naturally knows how to win them over with gently moves and certain words. wishes he could bring all of them with him but I want to believe that he already had one or two at home 🥺🥺🥺🥺
— a light sleeper. cautious even in his own dreams.
— green is his favorite color. being at the island somewhat made him appreciate how beautiful pure nature can be … before humans try and destroy it
— needs to cling to something to fall asleep. in a very platonic way would hug literally anyone or simply lay besides them curled up in a ball like a puppy. not very tactile on the day to day life though
