Very true
when you realize that routines are actually rituals of devotion to yourself & your dreams they become much easier to follow
You want to know why youâre struggling with discipline?
You donât have a discipline problem, discipline can be learned. youâre actually trapped in an emotional cycle that is keeping you stuck. Your start again stop again pattern isnât about willpowerâitâs about the loop of hope, fear/control & shame that sabotages your progress.
The cycle looks like this
You feel excited & motivated about your future goals.
You try to force discipline as a way to guarantee success.
You fall short, feel like a failure & beat yourself up.
Then, the cycle repeats, making you believe that the problem is youâwhen in reality, the problem is the pattern.
Discipline shouldnât be a tool for control. Focus on showing up not guaranteeing results, so detach from the outcome & learn to trust yourself. At least to take risks.
Perfection isnât sustainable (it also stems from insecurity) progress is. Progress x consistency = results. You can start big and still fail. The lesson and skills are in the journey. Whole point of everything. Even if youâre naturally great, if youâre not learning something- that becomes your blind spot that will ultimately work against you. Seriously, always look for the lesson. Itâs good for you, I promise.
Instead of beating yourself up, learn to trust yourself to stay consistent. The moment you fall into self blame, you lose motivation. Discipline isnât about forcing yourself at all; but about learning to show up consistently without fear or shame because you deserve what you want and are committed to getting it.
Now that weâve understood (& hopefully acknowledged the emotional issue) we can control it.
âI believe that the greatest gift you can give your family and the world is a healthy you.â
â Joyce Meyer
What you do in private, shows in public. Reading shows in a conversation. Your diet shows in energy. Your discipline shows in confidence. Your focus shows in your results. You are what you cultivate when no one is watching. Prioritize your time & focus on discipline/consistency.
When I look back on my past and think how much time I wasted on nothing, how much time has been lost in futilities, errors, laziness, incapacity to live; how little I appreciated it, how many times I sinned against my heart and soul-then my heart bleeds. Life is a gift, life is happiness, every minute can be an eternity of happiness
â Dostoyevsky
He just couldnât say it better . I do look back sometimes and I am so grateful for how much a changed . Life is much more easier now :-)
This next chapter of your life is calling for you to step out of fear and into your power. It's asking you to embrace growth, trust your journey, and believe in your ability to rise.
stop ignoring yourself. fix your posture, get a new hair cut, do your nails, take care of your skin, brush your teeth, drink water, eat foods that give you energy. get strong, stop looking sloppy. when you feel good, you do good. invest in yourself.
show up for yourself!
How to not put others before yourself:
Set boundaries and say "no" when needed
Prioritize your own mental & physical health
Make time for personal goals and hobbies
Avoid overcommitting to others' needs or demands
Take breaks to recharge without feeling guilty
Focus on your own growth and self-care first
Say âyesâ to things that align with your values, not out of obligation
Communicate your needs clearly without apologizing
Avoid seeking validation by pleasing everyone
Delegate tasks instead of taking everything on yourself
YOU COME FIRST ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS!!!!!!!!!!!
Start creating a schedule, put everything in the schedule that YOU need to do for you. Any free time you have after that is the time you can make available for anyone else. Never compromise yourself, your plans or your goals for someone else. The right people will align with you and your plans will fit perfectly with each other.

STOP THINKING THERE IS A DEADLINE. THERE IS NO DEADLINE. TAKE A DEEP BREATH AND TAKE YOUR TIME.
