Some quick thoughts about my predictions compared to the results of the actual trial

I'm so happy he is living, I'm REALLY excited to see his development. Especially with the whole "do you think you have a cohesive sense of identity?" "I don't like this question"
And I had suspected Ouno lied to Ruka about passing by the lounge again! To make her doubt her testimony and all.
I DID think that since the chair locking the med bay was hers, that she was gonna be a red herring, so I didn't suspect her. But it WAS her! So I guess it worked to throw off my suspicion!
And her HITTING IKEDA WITH THE CROWBAR AT THE TRIAL? Holy shit! That was an incredible scene, the EMOTION in her voice, the DESPERATION. Really well done.

EVIDENCE
On the shelf above Akiba's body is a gap where the microwave fell.
On the opposite side of the shelf, aligned with that gap and Akiba's body, is where the sliding staircase is.
The microwave in the kitchen has been missing since dinner time on Phobia Game day - Nishiguchi and Tei are the ones who frequent the kitchen (Nishiguchi testimony)
Hirose and Isoda were trapped in the med bay via a chair against the doorknob on the other side
Ouno's desk chair is missing. This is likely the same chair.
Ikeda's seen "something weird" these past few days
THEORY
My biggest suspect right now is Shishikura.
He disconnected the handcuffs right after phobia game ended, and everyone was talking in the hallway by the cafeteria. Later, Kumada finds him in the storage room–what would eventually be the crime scene. This is also where Kumada comments on Shishikura seeming like he's barely holding it together. And later he'd tell Maekawa about how stressed he is, and how he doesn't want to die. So he's having a rough time.
This event really makes me think he brought the microwave over. If Nishiguchi's testimony is to be believed, (which I'd say yes, as she can't de-cuff from Yaitabashi, so it would be difficult for either to commit the murder,) then the Microwave would've had to been taken sometime that day.
However, the group was outside the cafeteria. He would've had to wait for people to leave, and it would be risky knowing people might linger in the area. We don't know what direction he went after disconnecting. At the very least, it's possible he could've been looking around the storage room for ways to commit a murder, or other aspects of a murder plan. With how Kumada reacted, it didn't seem like he was doing normal storage room things like getting snacks.
Of course, he could just be taking a break or dissociating or freaking out. The storage room is a quiet place.
Another important detail I found was that he shares a bathroom with Akiba. They have more chances to talk. In the BDA video, Akiba mentions that he and Ogura are the only ones who like to raid the storage room at midnight. I think it's possible that Shishikura learned about this, and planned to target either of them.
I might have set up the microwave, and was waiting for the right opportunity / day to enact the plan. I can imagine a killer staying in the storage room at the top of the shelf and waiting there for someone to be in the right spot, which is why the murder didn't happen on Phobia Game day.
However, this also doesn't exactly line up.
Phobia day, Shishi disconnected with Maekawa from 7:32-10:14.
Voter day, Shishi disconnected at 8:00. Apparently he's been coming in and out of the medbay starting that evening. Then "he came back with Maekawa a couple of hours" before 4:46am the next day.
Shishi must've been checking in with Maekawa connected, as they had to reconnect at 11:00am the prior day, at the latest.
Reward day, we get to videos confirming when they disconnected. During investigation, we found out that Maekawa was disconnected with him when the murder took place, as she was outside the storage room door with Denden.
Of course, others were also disconnected as well, such as Ouno & Yokoi, Ninomiya & Tsukigata, and Kumada & Denden. All of them are suspects in my opinion.
But my point is, if Shishikura wasn't waiting there every night for his opportunity. He disconnected earlier on phobia day, to potentially get the microwave set up. But on voter day he disconnected from Maekawa, saying he was angry about how she voted.
Either he lets his emotions get the better of him, or his plan is a little different than what I thought. Because if he wanted to kill Akiba or Ogura, he knows they go there at midnight.
Another detail is how he left the room afterwards. Or whoever the killer was for that matter. Maekawa and Denden were blocking the door a few minutes before Akiba's death. He could've joined back in the commotion, but I think that would be risky, and I don't think that's a good idea.
I was discussing ideas with some others, and they brought up an interesting point. Akiba punched a hole in the wall.
All we know about the hole's location is that it's down the hall from the waiting room (seen in Route Review). It couldn't be TOO far down the hall right, so it's either one side of the waiting room or the other.
Ninomiya, Kumada, Yokoi, and Shishikura were all with Akiba when he punched the wall. Although Shishikura left soon after, he at least knew the location of the hole.

I think it's possible that instead of being inside the storage room, he was on the other side of that wall. Maybe he took the cord of the microwave, and placed between the shelf and the sliding stairs. And from the other side of the wall, he simply moved the sliding stairs and made the microwave fall. Then he waits a few minutes and runs in through the door.
Of course there's some issues with this as well. He may not have been able to see Ogura and Akiba's exact position from a hole in the wall behind the stairs and shelf. He would risk accuracy. The microwave could miss the target and he'd need a whole new plan.
Now, any person could pull that off, not just Shishikura, but that opportunity after phobia game, and the scene in the storage room with uñada makes me suspect him. I think he's most likely to have taken it. And why show him in the storage room after if that's not where he put the microwave? But I suppose someone else could've taken the microwave from wherever HE put it. Or someone else could've triggered his trap instead. Either he decided not to go through with it, or someone accidentally set it off. Maybe it was Yokoi with her fixation on that hole in the wall. Though I know that's a stretch.
Another thing, Yokoi mentioned Shishikura passing back the other way. I believe the entrance to the pounce is on the wall facing the cafeteria. I know her testimony's missing some things (if Ouno's testimony is to be believed), but that shouldn't include lies. Like, if she's to be trusted, she wouldn't fabricate seeing someone walk by. But she probably missed people walking by due to her sleep deprivation.
If Shishikura's the killer, why did she see him walk back? Why DID he walk back? There's no other way to the storage room in that direction. Either he walked back again and she missed it, or something else is going on.
Also, I started with the whole Shishikura storage room scene with Kumada, so I've been looking at this with Shishikura in mind, but what if it was Yokoi? I've been thinking against that because she hasn't been sleeping or eating, which lowers her ability to enact a murder plan. But she HAS been very fixated on that hole. She may have missed people passing by because she left to commit the murder.
The person who took the microwave may not have put it in the storage room, nor may they be the killer. People who could've taken the microwave (according to Nishiguchi's testimony) are Shishikura, Maekawa, Yokoi, Ouno, Kumada, Denden. All of these people disconnected around 7:32-10:14. We don't know if Hirose and Isoda disconnected at any point. We KNOW Tei and Ikeda haven't disconnected at all that day. We don't know when AkiOgu or TsukiNino disconnected.
So really, I'm only saying Shishikura because of the scene in the storage room. And the fact that he shares a bathroom with Akiba, and probably knows he'd be there. Other than that, I don't have too much evidence.
I also thought that Kumada and Ouno were obvious choices for the blackened, so I figured it could be Shishikura because he hasn't been too relevant and it could be a twist. But now that I see so many people saying Shishikura, I actually have hope that it's not him‼️
All of this isn't considering motive or "why would they do that? They would never!" Thoughts. While I agree they're important and play a major part in who the blackened is, we don't fully know these people. So many times there have been twists and turns, and the killer is someone you don't expect for reasons you didn't even consider. I just prefer to go off of "why could've have physically done it, and has the opportunity to do so."
I don't want it to be Shishikura, I really wanna see more development on him </3

Btw, these aren't necessarily headcanons, these are like, just MY version of these characters based on what my brain decides to project into my head.
I do think there's some neat symbolism here though! Knowing he's had a lot of surgeries and he was taken away from his mother's custody cause she was making money off of him... I keep thinking she's like, taking stuff from his body and selling it on the black market or somethin.
Porcelain dolls are hollow right? Things are being taken from inside him, so it feels empty. Maybe he feels empty inside because of what he's experienced. Maybe he feels like he's only seen as an empty vessel for his mother to make money. As if there's not a person inside of that broken body.
And he cracks when he continuously gets damaged from the surgeries. We know he takes lots of medication, so that could be what the cracks represent. Each time that happens to him, he's hurt a little more, and has to take medicine to keep it at bay.
Of course the whole "selling his stuff on the black market" is just a theory, and what my mind goes to. And this is symbolism I'm creating from that theory. None of this is canon, and it's just the neat thoughts in my brain.
