It's raining today. I had to go on foot to the gas station.

I was wearing a jacket and boots, a windbreaker with the hood up, so I didn’t get wet like I would otherwise. It felt... different.

I guess I can call it a sort of longing, feeling present and yet dislocated. I could stop and think about how the rain washed away the footprints on the sidewalk, the ghosts of hellos and goodbyes from strangers, how the warm breath of passerby rises up and dies before it can quite reach the clouds.

And then it was gone, the sorrow, the feeling of having missed out. Maybe the rain washed that away, too. Usually the message would be that you're happy again when the rain ends, but I don't think it needed to.

The rain was cold today, and I think that's okay I think. It felt right.

I have been thinking about posting in both english and brazillian portuguese, as in, I'd include a version in both languages of the text in each post. Maybe it'd be a good exercise for me to develop a more flexible vocabulary, I'm making this blog a weird journal-like thing anyway.

Main thing is... I'm not exactly sure it'd matter all that much? I don't expect to have a following of any sort anyway B^/

There's nothing in canon for it, but I'm been playing around with an idea that by nature Zyglak would be seized by an uncontrollable and irrational hatred, fear, and disgust whenever they're in proximity to a Matoran, and vice-versa; that even if the Great Beings hadn't abandoned the Zyglak, they'd have some sort of interpersonal matter/anti-matter interaction with the Matoran- it almost always ends in tempers exploding and violence.

(I also think that they should have some sort of parasitic/body-horror relationship with Krana/Bohrok similar to the way Av-Matoran do, but I haven't figured out what that could be yet.)
