Itās kinda mind blowing how badly grad school exacerbated my mental illnesses.
Like, itās not as if life is suddenly all kittens and rainbows just because I graduated, but Iām finding it so much easier to manage. Iām currently just as busy (maybe even more so) than I was in grad school, but Iām actually getting enjoyment out of each day? Iām actually able to relax a bit each day without feeling constantly guilty? My mind actually doesnāt have to be constantly torn and constantly grinding on grad school problems in the background? I donāt actually wake up in the middle of the night with panic attacks anymore? Grad school was messing me up but now itās over!!
