290719; Long and hot days spent at my desk, working at texts I don’t like (at 41 degrees) and thinking about my overdue lit essay basically all the time. Also thank God that I can finally use my new Passion Planner – I’ve been so lost without one. Give more books and more rain and more coffee.

today I resolved to get a load of work done - but a friend called at 10 in the morning and half an hour later we were driving through the valleys and the fleeting trees to another friend’s house for fellowship. 

surely this was not what I had planned for, but very soon God revealed why I was where I was… drinking tea, ministering to heartache… & how blessed I am that He would use me, even as yet unwitting and unwilling - 

a new resolve: to make the desire of my heart His Kingdom - to fit myself around Him… for only then I will come properly pieced together, hem & stitch, glove for a hand :-)

i’m back in switzerland for a month before i have exams in london! this means lots of preparation in my lovely room at home.

currently, I’m trying to get my PhD interview (on monday), my leadership award essay (tuesday), and signing up for events for the swiss study sponsorship (thursday) out of the way. after that, i’ll start preparing for my three exams!

and in the meantime, i’ll try to enjoy being at home with friends, family, and making the most out of spring in this beautiful country!
