Show an example of teachers or faculty of schools telling minorities they aren’t welcome.in stem or discourage it. You won’t find.much. why??? *whispers* because there is nothing holding you back except your self.

Did you miss this super high profile example from just two years ago? A lot of these incidents aren’t so public, but they happen. And there’s the underlying attitude behind them that the professors and other people in power don’t overtly say, but does doesn’t mean the issue doesn’t exist. Selection for that internship or undergrad research position, the more promising project, pushing students to apply for funds or submit work to more prestigious venues, etc.
