just apply the logic of choosing to behave differently based on the person who you are speaking to, or "don't bite the hand that feeds you" if it's such a commonplace and regular saying that has been seen and said over and over and over again by people
the initial post btw where the guy turns "boring" and then "creepy" is actually just functional and animal pair bonding consequences, just like how there is this one breed of bird that can only display one certain form of feathers to one chosen partner and then doesn't get more chances than that because the feathers lose the special color after being displayed in the sun, because it would mess up the genes of the rest of their population (of this kind of bird) for this feature to not be in effect. there's a video about this specific bird if you look it up. Anyway humans actually had a stable, secure community environment where they paired up before 30, and being "boring" is supposed to motivate you to get gud, mf. sorry that you need to do a bunch of other bullshit now that might entirely steer you away from things that were a gucci setup in a maybe tribal or village environment or something, but you are indoors away from mosquitos and have access to almost any piece of information on the planet so I think it's worth it to be a little bit creepy
