I used to be super paranoid about selfshipping with multiple Kieran characters. I thought it would make me look and feel creepy. But everyone I’ve personally interacted with either doesn’t think anything of it, or finds it endearing. So it’s nice that I’m in such a supportive environment. ☺️
I'm sorry I haven't been very social! I've been very depressed for a long period of time, to the point of being suicidal. I had no space for anything that could bring me joy, much less selfshipping.
I'd like to be involved with the selfship community again, but I don't really go on Tumblr as much as I used to. shoutout to selfshippers who have confusing feelings about their gender / presentation etc.
you're still loved and respected even if you dont like the way you present right now. your f/os can see beyond your bodies and adores you for the things you do and feel. they dont need to look at you to actually see you for who you are. they love that person, they could recognize them in any form.
youre still loved and respected even if you dont know what you want to go by. its hard to find yourself, harder to give that a name and pronouns, your f/os understand. any experimentation or confusion is met with pride, theyre happy you want to explore yourself, you deserve it. frustration and change is natural and theyre willing to stay by you every step of the way.

Please be inclusive of transfeminine selfshippers.
i don’t just mean mention them briefly in posts where they aren’t the focus. i mean that we as a community need to work on the fact that we almost never acknowledge trans women or nonbinary transfeminine people on their own, we almost never focus on positivity JUST for transfeminine selfshippers, and above all as far as i can see there are very few transfeminine selfshippers at all.
trans women and transfeminine people are an amazing group who face a lot, and there are many places they don’t feel welcome. we have no excuse not to make the selfship community welcoming to transfeminine people, and the fact there are so few transfeminine selfshippers in the tags and so many other TME people tell me they see the same issue is indicative of a big problem with how we as a community conduct ourselves.
and for other trans selfshippers in particular, it’s our job to uplift and care for our sisters. we have no excuse not to do this.
EDIT: don’t derail this post if you are TME. the inclusion of transfem nonbinary people in this post is because they also face transmisogyny. please do not add unrelated shit about being TME and nonbinary.
