“hol’ up, what was the hold up?”  a weak excuse for a play on words, but jake was a little snappier at the 99 after 2 coffees, not in his unwind before bed time.  he paused the DVR, waiting for his fiancé to join him on the couch.

“oooof course it was.”  she was one of the few people that could elicit both overwhelming pride and and annoyance all at once in jake. he unpaused, not before taking amy’s hand in his own and squeezing it gently.
