Since I’ve got Entrapta’s hair on my mind, here’s a small piece of my development ideas about Entrapta as I got nearer to her final design. I had played with weaving wires through her hair to help explain its mobility, as inspired by classic Entrapta’s ribbons(?) that weave through her hair:
But they ended up being removed, which I’m glad about, these sketches look so extraneous to me now. The concept of a spiral indicating the flow/volume of her hair strands going down her pigtails stayed though, as well as the wires with various tooltips coming from her headgear! Whether her hair is still canonically powered with (less visible) science or magic however I think is up for debate.
