I think that the problem with contemporary society isn't so much that there's a plurality of different worldviews; it's that a bunch of rich assholes have their fingers on the scale to give certain worldviews that would otherwise be marginal way more airing than they deserve. All while harping about "the free marketplace of ideas".

me as a teenager: man it sucks to have no privacy or autonomy but i guess its for a good reason. when i turn 18 i will realise how young i was and understand why they did all that.
