Taking part in @thepromptfoundry's bejeweled January over on ao3 (I'll remember to update it there more regularly than Tumblr)!! Happy new year everyone btw ^^
https://archiveofourown.org/works/76865911/chapters/201188126
The Prompt Foundry is kicking off 2026 with Bejeweled January!
From their pure aesthetic appeal, to their long-storied symbology and associations, the science of how they form to the uses their varying physical properties lend them to, and of course the rich and often fraught histories they have across human cultures, there's so much to explore when it comes to gemstones in art.
Some common associations for each stone are included in the prompt list as a jumping off point, but those are hardly the only directions to go. Dust off the Steven Universe, Deltora Quest, or Sailor Moon villains obsession you thought you'd moved on from. Look up crystal structures and refractive indexes. Wax poetic about color variations. Draw, write, paint with stone-based pigments, break out the pliers and blowtorch to craft some jewelry of your own—create in whatever medium you're inspired to!
Feel free to combine different days’ prompts with each other, or combine them with other events like this past year's Genreuary! Use your OCs, your favorite characters from media, your own experiences, whatever tickles your fancy.
If you use this list, please tag me here @thepromptfoundry, I’d love to see what you create!
Respond to as many prompts as you want or as interest you, don’t worry about missing or skipping any, or posting your work after the day the prompt is assigned to. Remember, this is supposed to be fun!
If you have any questions or musings, check our FAQ, and if you don’t find your answer, shoot me an ask.
Plain text list below the cut:
Welcome to the 12 Days of Kinkmas 2025!
Returning for 2026!
Feveruary is a sickfic event with a closer focus on comfort and caretaking!
Hello guys! After a busy year, Feveruary has been taken over solely by myself (as Somber is taking a well deserved break) so I appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding at the lack of clarity of this year’s event.
That being said, I can’t wait to see what great things are written this year, we had an amazing year last year and I hope this continues. Hopefully these prompts live up to the expectations, I know many people have been waiting a while for them. As always, the ask box is open for any questions!
Prompt Text Version Below!
Surprise!
I'm not just doing hurtcember-- I'm going to try and do @fluff-cember too!
This chapter is for Day 1 - Mittens! The fandom is One Piece!

@hurtcember Day 1 is up! I might post each day's chapter... I might not. We'll see!
Tw for this one: Broken bones (not too graphic, though)

God I really need a beta reader but I'm . Scared . I've heard too many horror stories
Above is the official Hurtcember 2025 prompts list.
Below are alternative prompts in case one doesn't want to do a few of the prompts (but still do the whole challenge) or for those who just want to write/draw more.
Both lists are typed out at the bottom of this post.
Fluffcember 2025
Alright. It is September again, which means we have three months left until Fluffcember. This should give you more than enough time to prepare - and I am going to post the lists (plural) for this year's challenge.
As you might notice: I learned from the entire "it is summer in the southern hemisphere" thing. And as such I decided it is only fair to just make two lists this year. One with winter-themed prompts as usual, and one with summer themed prompts. It is up to you which one you use, or whether you mix and match.
This does not mean necessarily that there will be no "Fluffcember in July" next year - I will probably make a poll about that in February.
As always: The rules and the prompts are under the cut!
Fluffuary 2026
Hello and welcome to the first year of Fluffuary! This is a prompt based event open to all fandoms! Created by two authors who couldn't find a fluff event for January so decided to make their own.
To reiterate, this is our first year running this event and first time either of us has ever run an event like this so please bear with us as we work out the kinks! Below the cut you'll find our rules, posting information, written prompts, and 10 alternative prompts! Thank you so much for checking us out and we hope to have a great fluffuary with you!
Proposal for new fandom etiquette:
If you read a fic because it was linked/recced somewhere, you leave a comment saying "came from XXX" and that comment doesn't need to include anything else.
Because when all of a sudden there's a lot of activity on one particular fic I WANNA KNOW WHY!!!!!
This is cool, because not only am I sure all authors would like to know that, but also it gives a ready-to-use comment prompt to all those who don't know what to write in a comment.
It would be fun to know where new readers come from, particularly if there's a whole bunch of them after a quiet period!
fan fic authors be like yes i know this will flop however i simply have too much love for this character and my very niche headcanons for them. and i think that is so fuckin sexy of us
new game: how many hits/reads/whatever does your least popular fic have? mine has 16
