MAN I LOVE ARCHER FISH!!!!!!!! this is actually a learned behaviour and they can improve their skills via observation of older/more experienced fish. they can also adjust for light refraction in water AND they shoot ahead of flying insects so that the water jet catches them mid-flight, as well as adjusting the strength of their water jet for different kinds of prey. these fish are so intelligent and so ballsy

Weeping wailing gnashing my teeth when people say that aquariums smell bad. cause you just know that they're talking about a bowl with three goldfish in it and of course it smells rank that's sewer water. But real, balanced, well stocked, cycled aquariums? Now that's a beautiful smell. It's not a good smell mind, it's pretty neutral and you can only really get it if you have your nose right down next to the water. But that's what life smells like, that's living water.

Trying My Baby Corydoras Catfish With Frozen Bloodworm!

My baby corydoras have more than doubled in size since I first got them so I decided to try feeding them some frozen bloodworm.

The adult corydoras in the tank ate most of them but the two babies definatley managed to eat far more bloodworm than I initially thought they would.

As they keep growing it will be easier for them to eat the bloodworm quickly so they will be able to eat more of them without their tank mates wolfing them all down first.
