Whilst browsing women’s health articles I came across a page about avoiding STIs for women who sleep with women. Among the usual dental dam advise was:

“Be monogamous. Another teliable way to avoid sexually transmitted infections is to stay in a long-term mutually monogamous relationship with a partner who isn’t infected.”

Like… great, cool, that is totally suitable for everyone.

so hey fun fact for anyone who wants queer history trivia: the first disco in Seattle was opened in 1973 and was a gay bar called “shelly’s leg” and it was named after a dancer named shelly who lost her leg in a confetti cannon accident and used the insurance/lawsuit settlement money to open a gay disco.
