"You don’t scare me, Cassidy. I’ll say what I want to say, to whomever I wish."
"You have no idea what I'm capable of, Rogers. I recommend you watch your back as long as you keep hurting my friends."

Rosie rolled her eyes. He was like every other Slytherin in some regards— this was one of them. “Whatever you say,” she retorted, folding her arms over her chest. “Yours has plenty of time to sit around and do something meaningful. You are talking to me, therefore filling your free time, so your argument is invalid.” she grinned at her little victory. “Yes really,” she smirked ever so slightly, “I do not need to prove myself to you. You just get to accept that my life is much more interesting than yours, and move on from there.”
He huffed - she was right, he wasn't exactly helping his case by standing around and talking to her. "Fine then, I'll go do something 'meaningful' with my life - who knows, maybe I'll find the cure to cancer or swim across the Channel while I'm at it? You just keep believing that, Princess," he added with a sharp nod as he turned on his heel and began to walk away.

"Your suggestion is declined, since a) your suggestions are almost as crappy as your hair today, and that’s saying something… and b) you’re a complete asshole."
"Careful now, Kempley, you don't want to go boosting my ego too much or you'll never hear the end of it."
Oi!
”You tell ‘em. They’re gettin’ brattier every year.”
Pearlies revealed themselves when lips pulled to a full grin, a rare commodity, Leah’d agree. And it doesn’t falter at the comment, she did not mind— it's Blake.
”Ha Ha, Goldilocks. Rich comin’ from you.”
"Oh, I make sure to every time I see one of them, don't worry."
There was something about seeing his best friend smile that gave him a sense of accomplishment that not even getting a good mark or winning the House Cup could match. It made him feel like he'd gained some recompense for how crappy he treated everyone else. "Whatever do you mean?" he questioned in reply to the nickname, flicking his hair dramatically as he grinned.
Oi!
"That’s…not true. Aislinn feels the same way I do about mudbloods. And I have friends like Patrick Knight and Hugo Dorny that feel the same way, too. You can’t tell me I’ve got nothing, because there are plenty of people that think the same way I do. I know I’m right, Cassidy, and you can’t stop me from thinking this way."
"I want to be right."
"Then you're all idiots and I know this may sound absolutely shocking to your pea-sized brain, but just because more than one person believes in something doesn't mean it's right. Merlin, could you sound any more like a whiny two year old? Fine, believe whatever you want, but stay away, you hear me? If I catch you getting on at anyone again, I swear you'll regret it."
Oi!
"Hitler, really? You’re comparing me to him?" Loxias raised an eyebrow at the boy, "I don’t think I’m anything like him. And yes, I know who he is."
"That’s definitely no reason to feel sorry for me. Try again."
"Damn straight I'm comparing you to him: you're an absolute pig, a racist one at that who's set on the idea of shoving his ideals down everyone's throats and terrorising people who don't agree with him. You want to purify the world and get rid of those who are inferior, and sure, it might just be an idea that you're playing with, but everything starts off as a passing thought."
"Well, how about this then - everyone hates you, Rogers, everyone. Even Aislinn's just going out with you because she feels sorry for you. You think you're better that everyone, but truth is, you're at the bottom of the food chain: you're a bully, nothing less, nothing more, and it's about time you learned to grow up."
In the Potions Room || Bridget & Blake
Bridget sighed as she scribbled away at one of her essays for potions. She knew that they had just gotten the essay today and it wasn’t due for another two weeks, but she knew she couldn’t handle just letting it sit there and not getting down. As much as she didn’t want to work on it now, there she was sitting in the semi empty library keeping to herself. Bridget found herself staring at the paper, unsure of how to exactly finish it. Sure she had already went over the required four pages, but she just felt like she could write so much more. Before she could get her thoughts together, she saw out of the corner of her eye Milo entering the room and going to an empty table not to far from her. It wouldn’t be long before his group of little admirers would follow right in after him. Bridget shook her head adding the last period to her essay before she deemed it acceptable, this would have to do because she’d hardly get anything done with those girls giggling over the Gryffindor boy.
Barely managing to escape the library in one piece, Bridget looked down at the essay in her hands. She knew she couldn’t keep this on her for very long without someone realizing what she had done. Noticing that not only did she twice as much as she needed to but she also had it done within a few hours of getting the assignment. Bridget had decided that she would just go and turned it in now, she was pretty sure that Professor Cleprix wouldn’t have a class right now. She began to make her way down the corridor, holding her essay close to her chest as she avoided students standing in the middle of the corridor.
Turning the corner hesitantly, she looked to see if anyone was outside the potions room. To much of her liking, it appeared that she was the only student to have come down here since the last class. Standing up straight she walked straight into the empty classroom and looked around. It was odd for this room to be completely empty, usually Cleprix was somewhere to be found. Bridget didn’t want to leave her else just sitting here for anyone to find with her name scribbled on the top but she also didn’t want to be seen with it any longer then she had to. Thinking it over, Bridget had gotten a feeling that someone, or something, was watching her. Slowly looking over her shoulder, she jumped at the sight of the blonde hair boy standing right behind her. “Oh shit! You bout gave me a heart attack.” Bridget sighed as she looked him over. Her eyes then drifted down to her hands were she had her hands clenched on her essay. She quickly hid it behind her back as she looked back up to the boy. “What are you doing here, there’s not a class going on right now.”
Sliding his pencil behind his ear, Blake stretched his hand, clenching then spreading out his fingers to get rid of the cramps, as his eyes scanned over the rushed sketch of a particularly obnoxious plant that had caught his eye when he'd walked by the Greenhouse that morning. He had no idea what it was - truth was, he didn't even know if he'd drawn it right - but he didn't have time to worry about that now, he realised with a start as he glanced at his watch. It was three-thirty pm on the dot, the time he'd arranged to meet with Professor Cleprix to go over a particularly nasty Alchemy question that had been haunting him since the class on Friday.
Chucking his sketch book and a few extra sheets of parchment for good measure onto his pile of Alchemy and Potions' text books, he straightened his tie as he left his dorm and went out to the bustling Common Room, maneuvering his way around the couches and groups of students that were already anticipating the weekend despite it only being Tuesday. As soon as the door shut behind him, the familiar coldness that came with this time of the year seeped into his bones - perhaps one of the biggest problems with living in the dungeons, but it luckily only ever became a problem when you left the toasty Slytherin Common Room.
The Potions' classroom wasn't too far away, only three hundred metres or so, but that didn't stop him from quickening his pace, resulting in him being slightly out of breath by the time he reached the open classroom door. Blake stuck his head around the corner, checking whether or not he was actually late - Cleprix, it seems, was as unreliable as usual and was no where to be seen - only to catch sight of a shock of blonde hair. Bridget seemed to be entirely lost as she glanced around the room, so deep in thought that she didn't hear him approaching her until he was practically on top of her.
He smirked as she panicked and swore loudly, taking a step back with his hands raised, "Easy, Fedele, it's just me." His eyes followed the parchment in his hands as she hastily hid it behind her, and he raised an eyebrow, but didn't comment on the action. "I'm not stalking you or whatever, I'm just here to see Cleprix," he replied, waving his pile of textbooks as proof. "You, on the other hand, look like you're up to something far more fishy..."
Oi!
"I know a little bit about everyone, Cassidy. I make it my job. Now what the Hell do you think you’re talking about, saying you feel sorry for me?"
"And you clearly know nothing about me, so I recommend you shut your mouth. Fine then, let's take a trip down memory lane... I'm going tell you a tale about someone who had similar ideals to you and went about pursing them - only doing what was best for the world and all that, you know? - only to screw over absolutely everyone and himself in the process, a lovely German bloke by the name of Hitler."
Oi!
"Empty rumors? Oh, something tells me they’re not empty. And you can say what you want about purebloods, truth is, they’re just better than you."
"Oh, so you're an expert on my life, are you? Didn't know I had a stalker, and truth be told, it's a little creepy - I would recommend you get a life. Huh, you really believe that, don't you? I hate to say it, Rogers, but I might actually be feeling sorry for you right about now."
Oi!
"I know you’re a halfblood, Blake, you fucking freak. I’ve heard stories about you not having a mum. She’s gotta be a muggle, right? So don’t give me your shit. You just know you wouldn’t be included in a world I ran."
"'Freak', well, that's really nice to hear from a guy who's Grandma's his cousin and Mother is his half-sister. But tell me, is it true all inbred kids inherit the same stupid look on their face as you? And Merlin, you really are dumb enough to listen to empty rumours, aren't you?"
Oi!
I’ll have you know, the parties I crash aren’t deadbeat — they’re upper crust parties. Or parties with good liquor. Now which one it was last night, that’s for you to guess at, mate. Skurge. Where’re you rushing off to then, hmm?
Of course they aren't - actually, no, half of them probably are until you turn up, am I right? Then things just get downright insane... Was just going to the library for to get a book for Astronomy then get this homework done before practice tonight; you do know what a library is, right? That big room with lots and lots of books that you can usually find masses of Ravenclaws in?
Oi!
"House Discrimination? How original. And my team is perfectly okay, however yours seems to lack talented beaters.”
"Why thank you, I do try my best. 'Perfect' may be the wrong word - may I suggest an alternative, like 'pitiful', 'mediocre' or 'just absolutely rubbish?"
Oi!
"Yeah? And when I’m Captain, you’ll be eating those words."
"Yeah? And when you're Captain, Gryffindor won't even be in the House Cup because last time I checked, dictatorships, and Pureblood ones at that, just ain't no fun to be in."
Oi!
”We all know tha’ Gryffs got lazy durin’ trainin’. Don’t mean they got a greater chance ‘gainst us.”
Shoulders bumped against the burly boy, the quiet bastard of a smirk danced its way across her features.
”Well, desperate times call fa’ desperate measures. Hogwarts ain’t cheap.”
"A well deserved slice of humble pie, if you ask me. It's about time them Lions learned they're not 'all that' just because they have the alumni going for them."
He leaned into the bump, pushing back playfully and nodding in satisfaction as she grinned despite the ominous comment. "Merlin, I'm surprised you even remember how to smile - you really should do it more often, you know, I've heard it makes you seem approachable or something nuts like that."
Oi!
Johanna’s eyes stayed down until Blake spoke more softly, when she glanced up at him and gave a small smile. “My mistake. You just… came around the corner faster than I anticipated, and I wasn’t entirely paying attention. Aislinn caught me on my way out of Divination, I tried to dart off before she caught me again.” Avoiding a small handful of the Slytherin team was Johanna’s norm, but especially today. Aislinn was in a sour mood, as she had found, and she’d not even managed to fully avoid a curse before she’d gotten away — as was evident by the scratching at her forearm and the slight shake of her hands. “I’m sorry, again. I didn’t hurt you, right? I mean. I’m practically miniature, I doubt I could hurt you if I tried, but still.”
There was a buzz in the back of his mind, the sort that was like a midgie flying around in the middle of the night that you could never seem to find, that was urging him to say some comment like 'I didn't ask for your life's story' before walking away with a scoff, but when he saw the sadness behind her smile, he honestly couldn't bring himself to be that Slytherin, not when it was just the two of them. His jaw clenched when he heard mention of Aislinn - yes, she may have been his team mate, but the entire team was infamous for stepping over the line (himself included), if he was being honest - and he rested a gentle hand on he shoulder as she apologised again. "It's really alright," he reassured, meeting her eye before gesturing to himself, "Still standing, amn't I?"
Oi!
Rosie looked up at him feeling quite disappointed— mainly in herself for trying to talk to someone about something she enjoyed a lot. “Everyone has time,” she muttered holding her book closer to her chest. “You see, Prince Charming, if you actually make a schedule for yourself, you will have time to read something interest, and good. Since you have time to call me Princess, I know you have time to read a book about one.. Besides, I have a life. One that I can promise is much more interesting than yours.” she smirked a little sassily feeling quite proud of herself in her little moment.
"Some more than others, apparently," he retorted before patting the pocket of his robes which contained his time table, "'Course I got a schedule, everyone's got one - mine just doesn't have 'sit around and do nothing meaningful with my life' in one of the columns." A blatant lie, he supposed, given the amount of time he'd put aside for sketching, but it wasn't like he was about to admit it. "Oh really?" Blake asked, his tone more patronizing than anything else. "Please, enlighten me how."
BONUS PROMPT: Class Schedule
Seeing as he still has absolutely no idea what to do with his life, Blake surprised most when he preceded his reputation and took on the maximum amount of subjects students can take. It's mostly his Dad's fault - he's always on about 'keeping your options open' - but he's learned to appreciate the variety the subjects give him, even the ones he doesn't exactly enjoy like History of Magic and Transfiguration. Mapping stars in Astronomy continues to be his favourite assignment to complete, and while it seems he doesn't 'try' in Art, the sketch books piled up at the bottom of his trunk would disagree entirely.
