Kafka Asagiri has been writing Bungo Stray Dogs since 2012, but for whom exactly did he write this series? His answer is unexpected.
Keypoints
Bungo Stray Dogs is not for people who are good at living, but for those who need stories like oxygen, according to author Kafka Asagiri.
The series explores themes of trauma, self-affirmation, and the right to feel lost, resonating with audiences who have experienced pain in their own lives.
Bungo Stray Dogs offers a bittersweet view on life, balancing fun and amusement with a deeper exploration of emotions, making it a relatable and meaningful story for its audience.
I saw this article a few days ago and was considering not posting this since it called us out in 29 different languages.
"BEAST" (Light Novel/ Manga). This Light Novel is about another universe where Dazai and Oda never befriended. Introduction here. Spoiler: In the most recent BEAST manga chapter, there is a hint that the original Dazai from the outside world might have written in the book and created this universe (but I don't really know how).
"Bungo Stray Dogs Gaiden: Ayatsuji Yukito VS. Kyogoku Natsuhiko (Another Story)" (Light Novel/ Manga). This light novel focuses on another story about the âhomicide detectiveâ Ayatsuji Yukito, his assistant Mizuki Tsujimura, and Yukitoâs old nemesis Kyougoku Natsuhiko. Introduction here.
"Bungo Stray Dogs Wan!" (Manga/Anime)
Anthologies
[I recommend you to read Light Novels because the emotions of the characters are usually best described there. =v=]
c. BSD timeline based on Dazai's age
I just binge-watched Bungou Stray Dogs and Iâm in love. Anyway, since I had some trouble figuring out the order of the flashbacks, I assumed
aka 80% of the time I waste on overthinking everyday can be attributed to Dazai
(Using information I gathered from reading the manga, as wel

[P/S: I have just known about BSD for quite a short time so sorry for some mistakes and please feel free to correct me. :D]
israel has been bombing residential towers, refugee camps, media offices and now there are reports that it plans to bomb two UN run schools in palestine. reminder that many ppl who have been rendered homeless by these bombings have found shelter in these schools. palestine's hospitals are overflowing, their top doctors are being killed in these bombings, and the pandemic is still raging while israel is blocking humanitarian aid as well. these are war crimes. this is a genocide.
PLEASE do not stop talking about Palestine and spreading information, especially from Palestinians, whether it's here or on other social medias you use more often. Palestinians themselves have said over and over again that spreading this on social media helps, I've seen some people say that it feels different this time now that the world is starting to hear their voices. and please donate if you are able to
There is a PAID story on Wattpad that needs to get off of the paid program called âPsycho Slumsâ â it is a complete rip off of the Japanese anime âPsycho Passâ.
Here you go:
This is a complete Walmart version of âPsycho Passâ and the author is getting PAID to publish it on Wattpad.
On top of that, he never gives credit to Psycho Pass as a story that he took obviously A LOT of âinspirationâ from. He even ACCEPTS complements of âhisâ creativity from readers who arenât aware of the existence of Psycho Pass.
Please oh please help spread the word! Itâs not okay for someone to take credit for something that isnât originally theirs.
This stuff happens so often to storylines or ideas that were originally concieved in Japan and it CAN NOT be rewarded with payment.
Iâve read through his work and found this on the second chapter. Not ONCE has he given credit.
I donât believe he deserves to be paid for this, but that isnât in my hands. The story does diverge in some places and he has added elements, Iâll give him that. But the story is Psycho Pass, characters, setting, tech, moral dilemmas. At the best, itâs an adaptation.
What will happen if Fyodor touches Yosano? Bc I been thinking about this like for a week and the question hunts me at nights.
Since not a whole lot is known about the conditions of his ability, I will just assume this much:
My explanation: Sheâs still dead.
She canât save everyone. We know that for sure. She carries the burden of people she wasnât able to save.
Fyodorâs ability kills upon impact leaving no time for her to recover. Therefore, her ability wouldnât work against him. The only person who would be able to face him is Dazai whose ability would nullify his upon impact... I think.
If I may add to this, Yosanoâs ability has been shown to be less affective against abilities, kinda like a reccessive gene against a dominant gene.
This is shown mostly in season 3/Cannabilism. She couldnât save Dazai with her ability (since it nullifies any ability), which makes sense. But the biggest evidence is when she was against Pushkin. She couldnât save Fukuzawa despite him being on the brink of death, as her ability couldnât work whilst his was active.
